There has been times she actually was forced to take long break from singing way too many scheduled performances from management. At one point she almost lost her voice and was hospitalized for a long time. When we see and hear this beautiful amazing singer fans and management go over board and become very demamding not considering the wellfair of the artist voice, and knowing Queen Mori she just doesn't know how to say no! Various circustances pushed her to make decisions for herself and take care of her voice afterwards.

A “vocal fry” is when you start of a word with a kind of “broken” or raspy voice. The high notes that have some whistle mixed into them have no technical expression, but people tend to call them “squeaks”, because that’s what they are. And Mori is practically the only one, who used them. (And I might be wrong, but I haven’t seen her use these very often in recent days - maybe a sign that her voice is already damaged or tired…?)
