This is the Regine version, and was original recorded for a shampoo commercial so a few lyrics were changed, but revised version, you'll notice the arrangement is different and lyrics back to the ones the composer put to the song. MV released on May 30, on Mori's channel

The bass player is Adonis Tabanda her music director and also MD for 3rd Avenue who she performs with on her live events for the past 6 years. She did a beautiful A Capella version of Rise Up with vocalists from 3rd Avenue that she released on her 24th birthday last summer. I think Adonis shared on his channel about not having music stands on the bus so the sheets were spread out on the table in his role as band leader and arranger.

Absolutely right that you can never go wrong with whatever Morisette and KZ does. Having said that, YES!!!! Please do the 25th anniversary edition. I think it will be a good comparison because she changed it a bit. The bass player is none other than Adonis Tabanda and he always does collaborations with Mori. Most notably the "Fly Like A Bird" He always works with her which is amazing. Take care Tommy

Hello ! Tommy hope you have good day your right when you like an artist you have to listen to it , same with yours truly, I listen to Taylor Swift’s I watch her first concert when she just starting that was pretty good, I also have artists that I listen to but what I like with Mori is her tone and watching her sings like an inspiration to become a singer, you watch her sings so effortlessly that you wanted to be one like her. I always prefer a live performance from Mori over a studio recording. So I'd suggest to pass up on the 25th anniv video for now (of Shine) to a live quarantine version of the same song that she did late 2020, I think. It was a video that she made at home to celebrate her appearances on the Wish Bus. The title is Shine by Morissette: Behind the Wishper (Wish 107.5)

Hi Tommy you often react to Morissette for reasons you already explained that she sings songs that couldnt get any better....Im a big fan of Mori too....but for now...if you can have a little break please try 4th Impact....a band of 4 pretty filipina sisters doing cover of Leave The Door Open by Bruno Mars, anderson paak and silk sonic...they may be a great addition to your liking as well....again just a tiny break or an intermission and we go back to Mori again which we both enjoy watching.....this performance blows me away the way Mori blows me away....only difference is Mori is one and these are 4 doing perfect harmony like no other does with wide voice range.
