This song is a Korean classic break up song and Morissette made it into a tri-lingual music with the help of her Korean friend in the Philippines. When she performed this is Korea, it was in English and then Korean in the last part which touched and wowed her Korean audience. she gained a lot of followers from that performance.❤

This is probably the most famous " break up" song, in S.Korea . Mori had a Korean friend help her translate the Korean into English for the Asia's Song Festival....but during the pandemic, she did a 3 language version...English , Tagalog and Korean.

"Music is the universal language". You can't get more universal than this. She practically reinvented a song that she has to learn from a different language, but transform that (Morify) into different vernaculars while still maintaining the integrity of the original song. Seems crazy, but this is Morissette. One of the greatest singing talents of our time! Btw, I can't memorize the lyrics in foreign language if I'm reading it.

Lee Young Hyun aka, Big Mama is the original S. Korean vocalist of this , and I have seen many S. Korean reactors to Morrissette's, Asia Song Festival performance in English and Korean and many preferred Mori's version, saying it was more accurate and emotional to the meaning of the song.
