Glad you enjoyed! There is a quarry in Quebec (Flintkote Quarry) where there is a bus too I believe but I have not been there yet. Early in the spring Morisson has 100'+ vis but it degrades during the summer with algeae growing.

Yes the plane and the fake sub were put in as attractions. There is also a small tug boat (not in the movie). However some actual mining equipement (conveyers, pulleys, steel cables, large steel boxes) is left over of when it was actually a working limestone quarry.

It is like lake diving. There is a thermocline, most noticeable during the summer. So during the peak of summer the top 20' are around 70F but temp drops quiclky in the 50-60F range below that. Other times temp is around 45F-55F at all dephts and even colder in winter.

I think so...You just drive up highway 5 which ends and becomes 105 and it's about 20 min. on 105...I have not been there since 2006 but it can't be much more than 30-40 min out of Ottawa. It is where there is that bungee jumping place: Great canadadin bungee or a name like that (look for their signs). It is a very nice place to dive.

All the stuff in the quarry is was put in there as a sort of diver's palyground.. There is plaque on the plane near the door which says who donated it.

Hi Glad you appreicate the video. Do u mean scuba diving this site? No very easy site, anything easier is a swimming pool. Or do you mean scuba in general? No it is not difficult, it is sport like any other and it can be learned. Just like you can learn skiing, golfing, surfing etc...Of course with the underwater element I can not stress enough that adequate TRAINING IS ESSENTIAL. If you go play golf with no lessons you will not die, just play poorly. Diving with no training can kill you
