Most of that shit has to be because of the white guy thing. He’s a Euro too. A lot of NBA fans still have all white Euros and Eastern Euros as soft Bs until they prove otherwise. They won’t admit to it, but when you actually see the kid play, what other reason could you use to explain the unathletic claim? He’s nowhere near as stiff and unathletic as some of the fucks the Lakers have drafted over the years. Remember Brian Cook? That dude couldn’t jump over a book and he ran as straight as an arrow. If he ever dove or bent down to steal a ball like Wagner has, I wanna see video evidence of it. I’ll upload it as a “believe it or not” moment. Wagner visually demonstrates the unathletic claims are full of shit. Is he Vince Carter? No. Is he as mobile as any other whiteboy bigman who has made a name fer himself in recent years (Nurkic, Love, Dirk, etc)? Yes. Skills and attitude can overtake raw athleticism, physique, and a dumb mind (think Kwame Brown, who Jordan was calling a faggot ass motherfucker in practice). Moe is a savvy player and a hustler and is enthusiastic and vocal unlike other Millennials on the team. Moe knows.

Wow, Wagner wurde nieee als so ein großes Talent gesehen in Deutschland. Hartenstein hatte einen ganz anderen Ruf und wurde lange auch als möglicher Lottery-Pick gehandelt. Bonga ist erst 18 und wenn er noch ein Jahr wartet mit dem Draft, könnte auch er ein 1st RP werden. Moritz sagt selber, dass selbst sein Bruder ein größeres Talent ist.

Crazy as it sounds after 20 yrs of Dirk, but Dirk himself took a couple of years to start showing his potential. Not sayin Wagner has Dirk’s ceiling, but I think most fans around then who saw Dirk didn’t know that Dirk had Dirk’s ceiling either! Proof of that was the Bucks trading him for Robert Tractor Traylor, a guy who was arguably too fat to be a pro baller (died of heart attack). Moe won’t have the freedom Dirk had with those late 90s Mavs teams, which generally sucked until Dirk and Nash blew up in tandem.

You don’t wanna watch the NBA as it is now then. If so, I hear ya. I miss the 90s and early 2Ks too, but now a center like Cousins is becoming a journeyman. About 15 yrs ago, he would’ve been hailed as Shaq lite. Lakers casually let Julius Randle go, too. His superfans keep claiming he was a 2018 style player, but that’s obviously a birdbrained claim. They got rid of high character guy Larry Nance Jr too. Mag n Pelinka talk all day about character and all that, but note that Larry Boy and Randle have gone the way of the dodo bird in LA. Lakers are FINALLY fuckin coming to grips with how the game is played today.
