You know what's truly great about Brett's demos...? He spends way more time playing the gear than he does talking. Too many other demos are 20 minutes of some lonely dude chatting and thirty seconds actually playing the thing.

I’m amazed you have an original Crunch Box Burgs. Didn’t you have the Super Crunch Box V2?

That little Crunch Box is the sole reason I got into shooting video demos. Before it I was a fairly homogenised Boss man. A friend recommended I try the Crunch Box back in 2008. I did, and I became instantly addicted to 'boutique' pedals. Thanks to it I struck up a lifelong friendship with MI Audio's Michael Ibrahim and then I began my KZbin journey. That Crunch Box means more to me than any other pedal on my shelves. But to answer your question, yes, I did and still do have the later version - the Super Crunch Box V2. Cheers.

Dang, six months and nobody’s responded yet. To answer your question , it’s the same color as the Tubescreamer but no, it’s a full on distortion, whereas the TS is an overdrive. The color scheme is a bit misleading, even though it looks awesome. I’m not sure if this distortion is based on anything in particular, or just an original circuit from Morley, but they’ve had this pedal in their lineup for years. This is just a smaller more colorful version.

The colour suggests it's a tube screamer style distortion. Is it? The colours of the other models also suggest particular distortions, e.g. Boss Distortion.
