such a great series! you are so right, it was my research into Scientology that really woke me up to the falsehood of Mormonism.

As I child I thought the devil was all around me...I created a stomping the ground defense to try and scare him away. Took years to not be afraid of the devil getting me. Thank you Baptist religion 😓

The parallels between the two are quickly discernible once one reads a few neutral biographies. The first few books of the BOM read like a relentless beat down. It creates a strange a now predictable mindset of need for quick answers. The members then “love bombs” prospective members but never answer probing questions. They just stick to their well proven script.

You can detect Scientologist ads. They still do the thing they've always done.. Present as some sort of self-help program without mentioning Scientology.

Everything about any dead religious or cult figure becomes hagiography. Jesus, Mohammed, Joe Smith, and even L. Ron Hubbard. I'm skeptical of all of them

Very interesting content in your Chanel, Mormon histories… I think I’m going to look on Chris Shelton, I think and now my point of view on between Mormon and sciencetologi well yes they have some similarities but not only this two… almost all new religious or cults have the same line.

John. You have talked about wanting to have on other guests from cults. I have a couple suggestions. 1. Owen Morgan/Telltale. He is an ex-Jehovah’s Witness with a decent Number of viewers and subscribers. He has a really good knowledge of that religion and cults. 2. Aron Ra. He is an ex-Mormon atheist KZbinr and science communicator. He has a large following and would surely give you quite a boost in viewership. 3. You had asked me to send a PPT over to you from my email and I’m just wondering in you have received my emails. Maybe I am blocked or being pushed to a junk folder, but I don’t know if you have received it. Could you please let me know? I’ve also asked about volunteering opportunities. I know the PPT has great content. Please review it if you can find the time. The topic is extremely important to me. Thanks!

I respect and love what you are doing as someone who used to be in Scientology. However, 10 years later I did call to God and accepted him in my life. There is definitely dark forces in this world, as soon as I accepted Jesus I was “attacked” in my dreams and the Holy Spirit really gives you a feeling of discernment for good and bad. This doesn’t not mean that we are not the architects of our experience and in the Christians faith emotions are of the mind and even the soul, also illness, mental illness, or physical illness can indeed be OF THE BODY. But there are definitely also spiritual issues, which take people in dark places. I am saying this as an ex skeptic, new ager, scientific point of view, let’s please not put a big label of RELIGION on these fringe cults which pick and choose here and there and create money making machines. That’s all, this said, again, I REAlly understand what you mean and what you are going through as I also had trouble when I let go of Scientology - auditing made me suicidal.

He wears almost nothing but tongue in cheek/catoon/super-hero t-shirts. Many of them have comments on them regarding crazy stuff in Scientology.
