Just remember you're not alone, happens to most of us at times. This gospel certainly takes effort, even with a strong testimony. You're either feeding and strengthening your testimony or it's diminishing. We all work with what we have. Music , as already suggested, is extremely powerful and usually how I feel the spirit best! Simply saying you believe in Christ does not make you a Christian. You have to believe who Christ really is. He is God, and not one of many Gods. There is a big distinction there. Muslims believe in Jesus. But they think he was just a prophet. Jehovah Witnesses believe in Jesus. But they think he is just a angel like being. Mormons believe the Jesus in an exalted many who, through a perfect life, became a god. He is one of many gods. Mormon men who follow his path will become gods themselves. That is not a Christian view because it is not a biblical view. There is only one God. Jesus is one with God, of the same substance, the same being, eternal and everlasting. John 1:1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. John 1:2 The same was in the beginning with God. John 1:3 All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made. Note "the word WAS God". Not "a god". He is, was, and always will be God.

So you are saying that someone is considered Christian based on a certain interpretation of doctrine used in the bible? If you believe it this way, you are considered to be a Christian. If you believe it in that way, you are not Christian. Even thou, both sides considered themselves to be Christian. Whats funny is that there are a lot of "Christians" out there that do say "I believe" but really, don't do much and they think they will be saved. There are others, however, that are "Christians" and it is proven in the fruits of their labors. Get back to what I was just saying, I am going to tell all the chsritain world out their. As said in D&C 122, verse 7, to Joseph Smith the prophet, by God. "And if thou shouldst be cast into the pit, or into the hands of murderers, and the sentence of death passed upon thee; if thou be cast into the deep; if the billowing surge conspire against thee; if fierce winds become thine enemy; if the heavens gather blackness, and all the elements combine to hedge up the way; and above all, if the very jaws of hell shall gape open the mouth wide after thee, know thou, my son, that all these things shall give thee experience, and shall be for thy good." Sometimes things seem bleak, perhaps overwhelmingly so. But I believe in Christ. So, come what may.
