Everything about this is so beautiful. It's crazy how "smaller" bands and artists have masterpieces like this, so polished and perfect in every way, as if the famous bands had nothing to prove and just put out regular music because they know people will love it. MorMor I wish you the most success with your music you could dream of but in the future please don't forget that you were able to make this incredible song

"Some say you are the reason I feel this way..." This statement feels so different when you are heartbroken than when you are in love. When I discovered this song I was going through a depression because I had recently lost one of the persons I had most loved, he didn't die, we just decided to part separate ways. I used to listen to this song and when MorMor sang: some say you're the reason I feel this way, I thought about how this person made me feel like I wasn't enough. Now I'm in a new relationship after feeling that I wasn't ever going to feel in love again and when that part comes I only think about how this new person makes me feel so loved and appreciated. I wish more people appreciated what an awesome artist MorMor is.

Going through something similar. Drifting from someone you’ve loved for so long. Not ever feeling like who you are or what you’ve done is enough or appreciated. And not knowing who or what is next. Not knowing how to move on but knowing you need to. It’s hard. But it’s life. The idea that there’s someone out there who believe you are enough as you are, well that’s inspiring and scary at the same time. I hope anyone reading this finds love and appreciation, for you are exactly who you need to be and you deserve to be valued.

lyrics: [Verse 1] I'm just a poor boy Waiting for answers No one heard you coming I watched the ashes blow away [Bridge] Spent some days with runaways With the lights out, it's less dangerous You could kiss the lips of fate The less we know, the less it drains us [Pre-Chorus] Close your eyes and see it through Chaos comes and collects the youth [Chorus] I can feel the cold air when the night comes Heaven's only wishful I can feel the cold air when the night comes Heaven's only wishful [Verse 2] Someone said Each night I wonder Hoping to find meaning To the nights getting longer With luck I can break this feeling watched the ashes blow away [Bridge] Spent some days with runaways With the lights out, it's less dangerous You could kiss the lips of fate The less we know, the less it drains us [Pre-Chorus] Close your eyes and see it through Chaos comes and collects the youth [Chorus] I can feel the cold air when the night comes Heaven's only wishful I can feel the cold air when the night comes Heaven's only wishful [Verse 2] Someone said Each night I wonder Hoping to find meaning To the nights getting longer With luck I can break this feeling [Bridge] Life and its horrors Oh, there's no getting out Don't tempt these vultures Oh, who are circling round and round Don't be the reason [Pre-Chorus] Close your eyes and see it through Chaos comes and collects the youth [Chorus] I can feel the cold air when the night comes Heaven's only wishful I can feel the cold air when the night comes Heaven's only wishful [Outro] Someone said (Eh, whatever) Some say You're the reason I, I Feel this way Some say You're the reason, you're the reason You're the reason www.google.com/amp/s/genius.com/amp/Mormor-heavens-only-wishful-lyrics thanks!

I first listened to this song in the summer of 2018 before I started my freshman year of college. I forgot about it until now and it brought back a rush of memories. Nostalgia, love, and being naive to the world.

This song would probably be good regardless, but it's the wailing at the end, and the anticipation of the wailing at the end that makes it twice as good.

Finding this reminds me of life in 2002, living in Portland, and finding the best albums only few would ever hear. It's absolute brilliance.

Best song in 2018 so far. It's like a journey listening through this song. So many changes. More of MorMor!!

You can say, that this video gets the most views, because of this relaxed, wonderful and retro looking screenplay. It resonates with the vibe of the song and makes it just perfect. I watched it like 20 times full-lenght, because i showed it to all of my friends and family. I think if "waiting on the warmth" had an more powerful video, like "heavens only wishful" has, it would reach the million views as well. MorMor really helped me with this masterpiece, it became the soundtrack to my life of the year 2018. I hear it everyday.

I am sure this a modern classic.I could cry every time I hear this song.Makes me think. So much despair but some hope.So gently those emotions are translated to words and music.Tracy Chapmans" Fast Car"comes to mind also."Small town boy" Bronski Beat similarities as well. Pure and total genuine musical light.
