Many years ago I had a Spanish girlfriend and after almost a year of long-distance relationship I decided to move; For a few months she took me around many Spanish regions and showed me places she knew, among them was Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, a humid island across from Africa... There were numerous incidents of misunderstanding, we were from two different cultures and had very distinct customs (I am Italian) and that was my first real trip away from home for so long, we traveled for about a month and a half continuously. That week in Las Palmas was unforgettable, dances, spectacular food, warmth of the people who offered you everything with their love, this song reminded me a lot of a photograph I took of the neighborhood where I stayed that week, same balconies, cats around, and those porches of the building where I slept... I miss that time, thank you for reading this comment and sharing this song with me. Hugs to all, travel and fall in love!

Feb 5, 2024 I had been searching for this song for a long time. The only details I could recall were that it featured an empty town with blinking billboards and a red cat (yeah, it's a fox). I also remembered a comment about a guy playing the song through giant speakers to an empty street in Serbia during the lockdown period. With just these two pieces of information, I embarked on a KZbin search using numerous keywords, although I knew it might be futile. Afterward, I checked my list of liked videos, which contained 3,397 videos. After nearly an hour of searching, I finally found the song. Perhaps some 'genius' methods were at play, but after obtaining the song and rediscovering that guy's comment (somewhere below), I felt happy and delighted. It turned out to be a meaningful accomplishment on my birthday😊

I am speechless. I have no comment so I will just post an easy pancake recipe Ingredients 1 cup self-raising flour (sifted) 1 tbs sugar 1 egg (lightly beaten) 3/4 cup milk 50 g butter (melted) Method 1 Gather all ingredients. 2 In a bowl, whisk flour and sugar. Beat in the egg and then milk a little at a time until batter is smooth and lump-free. 3 In a hot pan or flat grill over medium heat, brush butter over cooking surface and pour 1/4 cup measures for each pancake. 4 When large bubbles form on the surface, flip the pancake over and cook until lightly golden on the other side.

We are fucked to the bones. We made pancakes too, today… and they were good! Our recipe was for french pancakes, called galettes, with buckwheat flour. Thank you for your recipe. Unfortunately at this moment we cannot make these pancakes because we have had too much white wine, cider, weed, acid, back massages, ketamine, and ice cream. I hope you have a nice day. It is a lovely new, sunny day here in England. Fuck Dominic Cummings; Love you. And love the music.

I first heard this song when I was deeply in love with Alice. That happened in the summer of 2018, in a room in Malaga. She showed me this song and I couldn't believe that I could be so happy. Almost three years later my life has changed too much, we have separated. I am left with all the precious memories and what I learned from her. Also with a 38 hour spotify playlist. Each of those songs mean something to me, kind of like the soundtrack to my relationship with her. "We were together. I forget the rest"

That sounds great. For all the complexity and emotions it involves. I keep remembering how great are the things that are going right now in my relationship, also trying understanding how I may be able to love this now, but also later, when things change. I was in Texas when I discovered this three years ago. Lost, not sure where I'd be going. I'm still having trouble figuring it out, trying to not be a failure, trying to be great at something... Hearing this kinda gives me hope. It's a reminder of a different time, where I was, and how everything felt, the "vibe"/feeling I can bring back partially thinking about it. I'm so grateful for music. It's such a powerful thing.

I was with you there, upon hearing it three years ago. Still figuring out things but life is much different now and some things to love have come back. Wishing you the best.

@@aesoprocksGM wishing you the best as well. Oddly, new songs I have found have made me feel similar, sort of connecting back to old memories via music. "Niki Fm" by Hawthorne Lights, sends me back, just due to the perspective I have on it now. Things are surely different. Who knows what will happen in the next 5, 10, 20 years. Side note, I was attending a semester for my freshman year at UHCL. I am now elsewhere, graduating next month on the east coast. 😎

The guitarist of this song is an absolute genius. Found this a few months ago but never really found the right comment to make. This song is absolutely magical, and I think a huge part of that is down to that damn guitarist working wonders. This song tells so many stories with every part of it's being. A sad undertone with a curiosity for something more, a hope for something better. It's incredible what a mere instrumental can tell, and this song really does drive that to it's potential. Thank you so much for this gorgeous track, KOKOROKO. We ALL look forward for what else you have in store for us.

i always thought it was a story about a fox that turned into a human and learned to play bongos because he used to raid the bins behind the house a beautiful woman lived in. while he was rooting about in the bins looking for something good to eat he'd listen to her play. sometimes the sun would be shining, other times it'd be raining. but she'd always be playing, and didn't even know someone was listening the sad part you hear in the song is that while he loves his bongos, and accompanying the guitar lady as she plays, he enjoyed his life as a fox and can't find his way back

And the moment whispers in your ear .. 'everything is alright with the world' ...you star to sway and the sea follows suit. The moonlight kisses you sweetly upon your face like a promise fulfilled. Beauty blows through your heart for old wounds are sealed now by a melody that raises a toast to everything you could be...you dance alone on the beach...I fall in love with you as the trumpet weeps "we will never meet'". The stars you're seeing ..i see too, they console me and tell me 'space is the space for dreams' and it speaks your name 'Luna' as the song ends, just like songs always do. This one will always remind me of you. Sincerely yours in a musical dream. Dangerous Brian......ARRGHHH!..got high again, sorry.

I've heard this song echo through every coffeehouse I worked at in my twenties, and play through my ears on late night bike rides home. Its been soundtrack to supper parties and background to evenings falling in both platonic and romantic love. It makes me think of people I used to love, of new friends I've not met yet, and of days spent dancing in the garden with this tune in my head. Its followed me for years and I don't think I'll ever be tired of it.
