@soupy5890 Жыл бұрын
@@Primadona_Doll Correct, I believe the humor of their comment is derived from that everyone reading it knows that Mozart is dead, yet the implication is loosely that this music will put Mozart's to shame, and they aren't trying to defend their musical reputation so to speak. Or maybe I'm just tired as all can be and over analyzing this comment.

Dude my brain is already trying to figure out the hidden lore in this new song /j (ps I’m excited to hear this new one)
@ShiryBun Жыл бұрын
If anything that would be the last song, but I can assure there's no lore here! These last two songs are a little fourth wall breaking, Bunny Hop is about Content creation and the burnout people feel, on top of depression and stuff (so basically about me), and Morning brew is less about me, and more about the listener, going through the same motions and cycle every day, and the message is to basically just enjoy yourself, and find these distractions to keep you happy, as well as surrounding yourself with people who care! ^^

@@ShiryBun ooh gotcha I have been overthinking this entire thing lol I have been trying to peace together the lore as of recent (also I hope one day you can conquer those feelings I’m terribly sorry I would hug you if I could because you deserve all da love and appreciation in the world for what you do for us) im quite hyped about the song though ^^

@@Aldtheneko Oh don't worry! I'm super happy and wouldn't trade what I have for the world, it's just something a lot of content creators go through! There's also a playlist dedicated to lore if you're interested, and there's a manga as well! If you're super invested there's an entire lore bible on the Patreon read by me That explains the world and systems in it, as well as its backgrounds. I'm hoping to do another manga soon and more lore stuffies in the form of ASMR!

I have mixed feelings about this song so I’ll try my best to give an objective review. You know I gotta say it, the art is top tier. It might be my favorite part of the video not to discount the song itself. I really like the song itself, the monologue in the middle works surprisingly well which I was not expecting as well as the transition to and from the monologue were pretty good. The lyrics are well constructed without any rhymes feeling too forced. I can’t tell if I like this song because I’m biased towards your work in general or if it’s actually a really good song. Either way, I really like it. Now, my criticisms: It feels really short with the monologue leading directly into the final verse. I wouldn’t mind as much if the monologue led into a bridge into the final verse, but it really feels like the speech was placed to close to the end causing the it to feel very short. The monologue was also much longer than I feel like it needed to be. You can cut out some of the bit describing the misery of day to day life and some of the bit at the end of it repeating how you should love yourself. Not trying to downplay the message, but it feels repetitive and unnecessary. Now onto your voice. I feel like your voice works really well for speaking, but the way you start sentences with that slightly gravelly strained tone doesn’t work with music where pitch is very important to keep more consistent. Your voice is really good and I feel like the song itself is really good, but you kind of played yourself by trying to lean into your habits that you do during your asmr. Another thing however, this method of speaking is most commonly found during the “yandere” or “psycho” types of ASMR so it throws the tone a little bit. The music is catchy, but I don’t like parallel motion between the main instrumental and the vocals. This may just be personal preference, but especially so because the melody is partially a jazz standard. I don’t think that this last one needs to be changed because it would only bother the highly trained ear. In summary: I like the song and the monologue itself is well transitioned to and from. The lyrics are nice and the art to go along with it is excellent. Buuuut, the monologue itself is a little long and it makes the song feel really short. Your voice is good, but you leaned into your ASMR habits of speaking into the song which may just be a personal thing that I don’t like. I also don’t love how you sing the notes at the same time they are the main musical component. It’s a song, not a Disney sing-a-long. Not going on my playlist, but it’s solid. 6.5/10

I didn't have much of a choice for the length of the monologue because I didn't make the instrumental, I just rolled with what I had. The piano solo was a lot longer than expected. Sadly I guess you've just heard my voice so much with Yandere that it's hard to differentiate the two of them, but that's just my voice, and I didn't really want to try and sing my message, since it was coming from a genuine place and I didn't want the message to just get slipped away by singing. I'm happy with the product, and while I think my singing could definitely be improved, I don't think I would change anything else. When commissioning this song, I requested an ASMR styled Jazz, where I told a story in the background, starting off in the alchemy lab/shop, moving to a meadow, then a forest, then back home, it was supposed to be a cycle-like storytelling, how people do the same thing everyday, and focused in on their depression, hoping that I can be that distraction or morning brew that they need, to break that cycle, or at least make it more enjoyable. It's meant to be a simple kind of motivational song, with its genre being ASMR/Jazz Each of my songs are focused on a particular emotion/theme, for Bunny Hop it was about my own burnout and isolation, my own feelings, in the innuendo of a beach theme, The theme for this song was focused more on the listener, rather than myself. I'm sorry you didn't like the song! Hopefully the next song you'll enjoy more, I put my heart into every one of them, and hopefully improvements in my vocals will shine from every new song.

@@ShiryBun Don’t worry about it, the melody itself was good, but just try to treat your voice like another instrument. You wouldn’t have two instruments playing the same notes in the same order, that’s called monophony and it’s not a great thing to do in jazz-like composition. It CAN work, only in specific situations and not over the whole song. If that was your first time making a melody you did a great job :D
