I have a dwarf bunny. She's a rescue. She was brought to my school by a teacher who found her abandoned on the side of the road in a box that absolutely wreaked of cigarette smoke. I have no idea how old she is but I've had her for almost 2 months now and I've noticed no growth. She's so tiny like so tiny. Like the size of a guinea pig. I've been giving her alfalfa because I assume she was under 3 months but no change. I'm not sure what to do. She's going to see a vet in 2 weeks from now. She was also extremely aggressive at first and I'm having to slowly get her comfortable with being held and loved on.

I'm glad that the bun found someone kind enough to give it good life, even if the bun is aggressive, it's most likely defensive behaviour. Just take your time, keep feeding her nice snacks with your hand, and just approach her slowly, quietly and give her space.

@@Yellow-py4qe I say give it a few more months. Fruit is best in a very small amount for baby rabbits. Offer small amounts of vegetable as a treat, once your bunny has eaten sufficient hay. Good quality of hay and grass and water should be available for her at all time. Onc the rabbit grow a bit older, you can feed them more handful of safe washed leafy green vegetables, herbs and weeds daily. Lastly, feed your rabbits a small amount of good quality pellets/nuggets daily. Small amount first for your baby rabbit. You can check out what can and can't rabbit eat online. Lots of guide, even on youtube, you will find plenty of guides

This breed of rabbits is the smallest one, so they need to be handled with extra care. Rabbits are prey animals and most of them like their own space and to be independent. It all depends in the character of each rabbit and that they don't feel overwhelmed or threated by their owners.

The amount of people that just buy rabbits because they look cute without doing any research and assuming that they're very low-maintenance and cheap to take care of are so terrible! Lily de plus I trained my baby from 8 weeks old to go in a litter box. It doesn’t have litter though. It has paper towels folded flat. His food is at one end and he pees and poops at the other end. He never does anything on the carpet. He is 4 months old and runs around the house now. It took lots of attention and patience to train him, but in 4 weeks he was totally trained.. As soon as he peed on the paper towel, I changed it. The thing is, they almost always poop at the same time that they eat. So you don’t want to give them food out where you don’t want to pick up poop. His water is in a bowl next to his litter/food box (16”x11”x4”).

Hi, they are potty trained, we use carpet tiles because it’s soft on their paws. At the beginning they pee on carpet, but we keep changing their pee box, location and different type until we find one that they like. But every now and then, they have an accident, but much less now. Maybe not an accident, but they do it on purpose to make me clean lol
