I just discovered your channel and love listening to you, I was laughing out loud while driving when listening to an older rose video where you couldn't remember Pope John Paul II's name and you were bantering back and forth about poof dresses. But because you love this rose so much and talk about it quite a bit, I have to let you know, there is no "n" in Lichfield Angel 😄. Thanks for all the info you provide in your videos, I'm not a flower farmer, but I will have a suburban cut flower garden (and planting over 50 rose varieties) next spring in our new home in TN. I love seeing the bushes in your yard (I'm also 5'4") so I can determine how much spacing I really need! You're arrangement was stunning! Every time you show a flower or plant, I think I need to plant that in my garden, lol.

I’m going to humble myself and admit to you that I planted my bareroot Lichfield angel upside down. After I few weeks of no growth I realized what I had done. I dug it up and decided, what the heck, I’m going to stick it in a bucket of water and see what happens. It slowly started showing life and it’s now planted out and blooming.

Oh Carol, that is just so funny, I plated garlic upside-down once, so there is that.

Normally I don’t do roses. I can’t handle the thorns. I do love the way they look and smell though and that is why I bought a Lichfield Angel. It is getting huge! So glad David Austin sends out a complete guide for their roses. I’ve done everything the guide says and they are fab!

Your bouquet is beautiful! You have such a talent...taking a bit of this and a bit of that and create something very stunning. Yes I do think you have a bit of whimsy in your gardens, but that is exactly what makes it so charming! I think I could get lost in my mind in your garden. Have a lovely day.

Enjoying your weekly videos, I feel like we have kindred hearts, my style and flowers on my farm are very similar, I just started 3 yrs ago after retiring from a family farm (Dairy & Garden Center) started my own dream with gardens and now doing flower farming because so many loved my flowers you are giving me my weekly why I’m doing this as well. There is days I wonder why, but at the end of the day I know it brings joy to others 😊

So good to see your beautiful rose farm; I have DA roses and they don't disappoint ever. My JPII rose is not doing much of anything yet - wonder why this is - no idea why. Waiting for that perfect rose Pierre De Ronsard - last year it flushed twice. But worth the wait.

@@sarahjones-jf4pr i thought i was the only one loosing roses.. i thought it was over feeding & over watering but they all get the same treatment & some of them just go brown & dead.. then again it could be lack of minimum 6 hrs. of sun.. never mind 6/8 hrs. of sun .. we don’t get enough sun sometimes here in England
