What a beautiful garden! About Kordes' scent: "Kiss me Kate" was chosen as the best scented rose in the rosarium in the Westbroekpark in The Hague in 2022. Perhaps worth a try.

Martha, I salute you!!! I’m glad that you, like me, love flowers in our garden! in one of the videos you asked: What do you like to do and what don’t? I love working in the garden and I love taking care of the garden, but I don’t like spraying and treating roses😀 My imagination constantly haunts me😀🕊️🕊️🕊️☘️🌺 Prosperity to your channel. Well done Marta🕊️🌿☘️

Hi Marta, Kun from Pennsylvania here, I like your video and your roses are amazing. I started a few years ago, and I have over a dozen roses, many of them David Austin roses, you inspired me to have more in my garden. Thank you.

Hello Marta, I just found your shows and I so enjoy them. I’m from Tennessee I live in the southern part of America. I have miniature roses growing in terracotta pots. I just started growing them last year. Have you ever had a miniature rose? I find them fun to work with and I call them my girls. We have very hot humid summers here in Tennessee. Today it will be in the high nineties with the index of 110. My roses have five hours of sunshine and then they are covered with shade. Every morning I check to see if the dirt inside the pots are moist. So far my miniature roses are doing good. Have a bless day💐

Good morning Marta from the Carolina's USA! Love the roses and the blooms are amazaing! My Clematis died after about 4 years, not sure what happened as they bloomed in abundance the first 3 years, then the next nothing. I may try them again, decisions, decisions. Thank you for another great video, your garden is amazing!! Cheers.

Some of clematis can catch fungal diseases and die. I try to grow the ones that are more resistant to fungal problems but you never know. But I always try to view it as an opportunity 🤣 new ones can come!

I love watching your channel. You are so pretty and I love your bright nails:). I am 55 this year and noticing my neck giving me problems after gardening. I have 3 roses from David Austin roses coming in the spring but I'd like to know if I should do something that is less work. How often do you spray your roses? Do you have to transplant them? I love how you interplant with such beautiful classic plants. You have excellent taste! I get such a boost from flowers that it may just be worth it. I have had a lot of hard work installing a very large garden space from scratch so once it gets "going" it should be much less work. Thanks for all the information and inspiration!

Amazing garden!!! I was wondering how much snow you receive where you live? I have over fifty roses, but all mine are in pots that I have to put in my garage in winter because I often get three meters of snow. I think they would be crushed and flatten by the weight of the snow. Most of my roses are David Austin and pink like yours! Thanks

Hi Marta! Your roses look so beautiful! You were actually the first person who inspired me to start with english and german roses. @@GardenwithMarta thanks for letting me know, sadly it’s too late, I just planted one this spring! Lol But I guess I understand, GJ was labeled as a rose that could be grown as a shrub or climber so I guess that’s their way of saying it will have long bending canes that need support.
@roontunes Жыл бұрын
I have two GJ s. The thorns don’t bother me at all. The fragrance is outstanding but I find the foliage dries out too easily in the wind and is very susceptible to sawflies. After her 1st flush she looks like a very tattered and twiggy mess
@pamcharles9266 ай бұрын
Thank you for the warning! I planted an April Love (David Austin), and while the scent is wonderful the thorns are not! I've been so obsessed with your garden since discovering your channel last year that I'm now rearranging some of my flowerbeds! Love your channel!!❤@@GardenwithMarta

Love ur garden and ur roses. ❤. Ur videos are very inspirational and informative. I started to plant some roses last year. This year there are lots of aphids in all my roses… Did u have any and how do u deal with them if u have these bugs ? Thanks.

Hi Marta: Thanks for the information on the video. I am a avid gardener in Western Canada I start about 800+mostly annual seedling a year. I am pretty new to roses and have 3 David Austin Roses, one is a climber in the ground on a trellis and the other 2 are scrub roses in big pots. Do you have any advice for growing roses in pots. They are both second year bare root and I am hoping they will be better next year. I appreciate any advice. Thanks again..❤

Hi marta I've got some roses and it's not flowering all the leaves are dry and get 1 or 2 roses if I'm lucky, i water them a lot. And I put them in partly sun and partly shade. Could you tell me what I'm doing wrong. X

Hello, I'd like to ask a question. How is 'Brorher Cadfael' doing? I 'm considering buying a few of them because of how beautiful they look, the supposed thornlessness and strong scent but then I've read about susceptibility to diseases. Is it showing blackspot yet? Edit: also, is 'Gertrude Jekyll' really as unmatched in its fragrance as the sources say or are some of the newer, less prickly varieties just as good?
@helenthompson5926 Жыл бұрын
Beautiful roses. What is the rose you say you love the flowers of but not the stems. You saw it at the Chelsea Flower Show. You didn't give its name, I don't think.
