When I start a new journal I cut a plastic mat the size of the journal from a Dollar Tree cutting board to put behind the pages for a firmer working surface.

Hi there, just can’t get over the freedom and no fear you have when decorating a page so I’m gonna try and see if I can do it! I wondered what kind of cloth you’re using there to wipe off your stamps... is it a shammy? Is it wet or sprayed with anything?

That is the Lawn Fawn Stamp Shammy. It is wet and cleans really well.

Yes, they do get bulky, but they are really well made, so it has not broken the binding at all, which I am impressed with.
