If the Government wants to hold those responsible accountable for the collapse of SBC, it needs look no further than the FEDERAL RESERVE who through their actions (raising interest rates) have caused a large portion of the Federal Bonds held by SVB to become worth only pennies on the dollar. Why would anyone want to buy Federal Debt with only 1.8% interest when they can buy new bonds at 5% ? This is a catastrophe of the FEDS own making so rightfully they should be the ones that help right this ship.
