Morning Plane Spotting at Faro Airport 2024

Information on the B727 at the 0:51 Since April 2007, the Boeing 727-100 has been detained at Faro Airport by order of the International Criminal Court (ICC). The aircraft, registered as 9Q-CMC, is owned by the former Vice President Jean-Pierre Bemba of the Democratic Republic of Congo. Currently, Bemba is on trial, charged with war crimes and crimes against humanity.

Está retido no Aeroporto de Faro desde 2007 à ordem do Tribunal Penal Internacional por ser propriedade do antigo vice-presidente Jean-Pierre Bemba, da República Democrática do Congo. Que atualmente está em julgamento, segundo a acusação, por crimes de guerra e contra a humanidade.
