Morning ride from Leeds to Bradford on by Bus 72 | July 2024

I really like your videos. I currently watch them almost every night when I can no longer lie in bed because of back pain. I went to Yorkshire five years ago, but unfortunately only had one day in Leeds. You can barely scratch the surface there. I visited Kirkstall Abbey and the Abbey House Museum. I really enjoyed that. Apart from that, I was more in the eastern part because I had my flat near Tadcaster. I'd be delighted if you could visit this area sometime. I would certainly recognise many of the places I visited. I prefer the X6 route to the 72 route. Did you see the changes to Bradford City Centre?

The X6 is quicker, yes I saw the roadworks and also Bradford Interchange is undergoing renovation. Is this what you are referring to? Thank you for your comment

Nice journey as was X6. Bradford’s original bus station still not being used? Lived in Wibsey in the ‘90s & used the local bus into the City, and heard it had been damaged!

Glad you liked it. Bradford interchange is currently undergoing renovations therefore buses stop just opposite the interchange. There are ongoing roadworks in the city as well. Thank you for your comment

The route displayed on the map at the beginning was not followed by the bus. Instead of using the Stanningly Bypass it used the direct route through Stanningley.

That might be my fault when creating the route map. First bus maps are not digital so it makes it challenging to do the route map on the app that I use. Thank you for your comment

I think there is a Megabus that serves Leeds to Manchester. As for Bradford it is something I need to check. Thank you for your comment
