Hi Lauryn, I just got my Golden Retriever mix puppy a week before you so I know exactly how tired you are and what you're going through lol. They're such a handful, having to watch them almost every second they're awake and having to take them out every 1-2hrs during the day is super difficult. You're so lucky you have a balcony in your apartment! It must be really helpful with Rocco's potty training. Also, it's an amazing time for us remote students to get a puppy so we can have time to train them before we have to go back to class, in-person. I like watching Rachel Fusaro & Zak George here on youtube for training tips! Can't wait to see more videos of you two!!

we just got a puppy too some tips to get him to not pee inside is to take him out to pee verytime after naps, playing and food it will be a lot of work but it helped our puppy and in only a couple weeks he didn't pee insinde anymore

I worked at a dog daycare and we had the fake turf as well and what helped the dogs pee and poo on it is we put the pee pads Under it. It’s something about those they know it’s under there so they will use the bathroom 😊

For my dog we have a flower that hangs on our back door knob and the leafs are bells so if he touches the middle part of the flower the bell ding and we know he has to go out! Just a tip!
