Morning Song - Dave Werden, euphonium, Recital at The University of Iowa, with SungZin Kim, piano

New performance of Morning Song, by Roger Kellaway. Part of my euphonium recital at the University of Iowa in March 2015. It's a great song for euphonium, even though it was written for tubist Roger Bobo. But the range is right in the core euphonium range (and above that typically written for tuba). I had the approval of composer Roger Kellaway for performing this on euphonium. The sheet music is available here:

It's a Great Piece! Sounds like it's influenced by Copeland and Vince Guaraldi! It's a Fantastic combination of piano and brass!

I read somewhere after I heard the piece for the first time, that Roger Kellaway wrote this piece as a birthday present to for Roger Bobo.
