Morning Walk | Church Renovations | Evening Nature Walk

Today was a day to take it easy, do a few jobs indoors and then head to the park for our morning walk. On the way home we stopped at the Church to see how the renovations are coming along. It's always interesting to see how things are progressing with the work being carried out to make a new area at the rear of the Church, hopefully for meetings and the like, with a small café, which is on the cards, and that would be lovely!
In the evening we went for a nature walk, looking around to see what we could spot and what some people could easily miss. Nature is so wonderful. I came back and looked up their names! We love nature walks in the countryside, but this walk is right on our doorstep - how lucky we are.

What a wonderful still picture of Ky, and of the various bugs. Such a lovely time had by all. The keep fit equipment in that park is such a good idea - wish we had that in our village. Thanks Jilly, I'm glad you enjoyed watching. The park is lovely and the equipment is often in use which is nice to see. The work at the Church is being done very sympathetically by expert craftsmen. We have watched the progress with great interest and it will be a lovely addition to the Church. I hope they will have more people visiting as the numbers are dwindling very sadly. Nice nature spotting! The green bug I know by the common name of the thick legged flower bug! Your breakfast made me feel peckish!! Apricot jam is one of my favourites along with Seville marmalade.

Hi Lynn Richard and Ky really lovely video looked as if Richard was enjoying himself as was Ky with the ball . I think it such a shame when they move they remove the pews it changes the whole feeling of the church. Lovely nature walk Lynn I have foxes come into my garden and when they have cubs they bring them as well to play my husband used to film them great fun watching them. Thanks for watching Fiona and for your kind words. I'm glad you enjoyed it. The Church will be renewed when it's done and hopefully more visitors. Only at Christmas do I ever see it full, it's a shame, but I think they will have coffee mornings and things like that, which will be nice and encourage more people in. Oh I love foxes Fiona, we have them in our garden too. I will try and film them but now we have Ky they only come at night so it's tricky. Best wishes 🥰 xx
