Nico, As always, great tips! I have two KZbin channels. One of them might get terminated at any given moment, but I enjoy it. I'm doing it for my own enjoyment. The second channel I have, I'm working on it daily and learning from your channel daily. Honestly, I can officially say that Nico's platform is better than any other competitor. I subscribed to two others but canceled everything because Nico offers genuine and good advice. You can see that Nico does it with love and enjoys educating people. Thank you for all the information. I personally appreciate it. When you have time, can you do an updated video about SEO in 2024? :) Thank you.

My channel is dead, I can't get any more views, this happened after I reformulated my content and changed the name of the channel. But I must stress that I haven't left the theme of the content or the niche, I just wanted to organise it in a better way, I think I have a shadow ban. Any suggestions?

I just had a look at your channel and your videos’s view counts and I don’t think that you are shadow banned and I don’t even think that you actually have an issue with reformulating your content / changing your channel name either. Instead I can actually see your video with 1.3k views from 8 days ago as a good sign! I don’t know how many views the videos got that you unlisted on your channel but I assume that the new content simply doesn’t work that well with your existing audience yet. You will either have to adjust your new content some more to attract your old audience again (option 1) or simply grow a new audience that has the interests that you need for your new videos (option 2). The 1.3k views video from 8 days ago is a sign that you managed to do one of the two options successfully! So you have proven that you can make it work. Just keep at it and I bet things will look better after you published 20 or so more videos. :)

@@Morningfame I don’t know when is the best time to post a video! 😢 I work during the day and don’t come home until after 8 p.m. M-F. So, it’s best for me to try to record on the weekends. But do I release the video on that same weekend or during that next week???? I need a workflow system that understands when I need to release a video and keeps me on task! But until then…. What do you do??? Does posting on a certain day and time even matter?? And What’s your workflow? HELP ❤

Quite frankly, the publish time does not really matter. It is a common misconception that it does. There are special types of videos for which it is important to publish on a regular schedule, like news content for which viewers form a habit to tune in at certain times, but usually it really doesn‘t matter. That said, I recommend that you consider these two things: 1. Publish at a time at which you have spare time to sit down and respond to all comments that you get from your biggest fans who watch your video right after you publish it. 2. If you have access to the day and time report in the Audience tab of KZbin Studio then pick a time at which your audience is most active. This way you can ensure that many of your biggest fans are actually on KZbin when you publish your video.

I have the only channel in my niche, I have all the videos in top places to the most relevant keywords, I am the go to channel for people in my niche, but still I have a small niche, so in order to move forward I have to adapt, to change subject, farther and farther to the original niche. For now the results are not big but promising. I have to do it, or I will end up with a dead channel.

Man, that sounds tough! How do you decide which direction to go when you venture farther out? Btw, my idea would be to emulate what either Paddy Galloway or Colin & Samir do. Both attract a broader audience in their own way which is creators + non-creators who are fans of big channels and want to look behind the scenes.
