I might have gone with Bourbon as the "Tomato Thinner", then again I've mixed Bourbon with Bourbon to make a drink, so I might lack credibility.

It is super easy to make mistakes with alcohols....I've heard. I don't remember making any myself, except this tragedy with the Fireball.
