That kid at the train that helped you get the taxi is a great kid, he even negotiated the price of the taxi for you lol, and btw that girl that walked passed you and yelled “sowrina 7ta 7na” meaning film us too, she was just trolling, I think you should visit irfan some time soon it snows over there in this time of year and go check it out It might be snowing there rn, it has a nice calm vibe to it and sort of has a European style to it cause the French built It as a European style city back when France used to somewhat rule in morocco, but yeah there are some nice hotels there go check it out, I hope you have a great rest of your Moroccan trip, have fun!

The old medina riad is the equivalent of old british cottages (old and different types depending on rank in feudal period. Fez Rabat Marrakech are called imperial cities because Morocco was an empire, it has a lot of influences). I think brits and Moroccans share that thing : they like old stuff and keep it as they are both old kingdoms (I noticed it when they checked the old style door ). Atlas trains are old they are putting New high speed trains Al boraq from North to south. Most middle class Moroccans take mostly highways or high speed rail now. Trains are great because of the scenery it is very green but those last years are tough because of drought. You still can go skiing not far from fes in Ifrane and Michelifen (snow). Those are my memories. Very nice couple and I think people feel there feel it and share more things with you. Thanks for letting us discover new places with you 😊

Welcome to Fès :) I am originally from Fez, both my parents are from there. There was a huge Moroccan Jewish community there before migrating to the terrorist state of Israel. My grandmother's family is of Jewish origin and later all reverted to Islam and that's why physically, I look Jewish like most of my family members. Take care guys :)

I've been following your channel for a while now. I love ur blogs and how you try to keep positive. I'm Moroccan and I learned things from your travels especially the cities that I've never been to such as Essouirra and Agadir. Next summer, I recommend you guys visit the North of Morocco. Cities like Tangier, Chefchaouen, and eljabha are really worth visiting and actually they are considered to be more of touristic destinations than Fez or Essouira or even Agadir. Next time you re in Rabat. Try to make the most of it. There are many other places to see than just the Medina or Agdal. Cheers guys
