We are africans but most africans reject it because we look different and speak different instead of taking it personally. we understood where they were coming from and speak like strangers in our own continent. I undestand how weird it feels from your prespective. Its basically the way your parents treat you when you come to their house which you grew up in and have all the memories in after getting your own place it feels weird and foreign but understandable. We believe we are african but we understand the pain our darkskinned brothers went through was bigger and that they are wary of light skinned people and foreiners and rightfully so.

Gaddafi was pro Arab and pro African, in fact he was one of the most vocal leaders demanding African unity!! Why we treat our African brothers this way when they're so beneficial for us??! They have oil and oil bros, they have access to the Mediterranean, they're more favourable for European trade, and they have the best military on the continent, unlike other military, these ones didn't endanger us.

I can assure you we never betrayed a country. In the middle of the Gulfe Crisis against Qatar (who aren't our best friends either), we even decided to stay neutral, the king himself went to visit in the middle of the Gulfe embargo on them and we strained our strong relationship with KSA. We were also a country that did accept to provide them with food and stuff (of course, they paid us, it wasn't aid at all) while others refused because of that said embargo. We could have kept ourselves out of all this and stay with our historical allies, KSA and UAE but we didn't. Moving back to our continent. We had all interests to keep cooperation with other western African countries (we're in the North Western side) and make things as easy as possible for everybody because it will make trade and riches move better for all of us. We have no interest in dealing with desperate countries since we don't have any imperial desires toward them, but we need allies to keep all of us on the right track to become wealthy countries.

Tired of explainin this. Morocco = "soft" NATO in Africa. Not tryin to defend those sell outs from subsaharan countries, but Morocco's not a friend, on the contrary ! This is resources reorientation: those ecowas sell outs close doors, morocco's regime opens another, but the flux is reshaped to serve... the West market, to which morocco's highly dependent. What's at stake ? The recognition, by the colonial masters, of morocco's hold over the western Sahara. Again, we are pawns to a chess game between 02 or 03 rival Arab cousins, both under western scrutiny. My opinion is that this video is really misleading on the real game. Mr Mwekassa's geopolitics must be upgraded.

You need to be realistic and as Africans (I'm Moroccan by the way), we need to be aware of the realities of the world. When you're at war, always leave an "escape" to an enemy to "keep face" for further negotiation later because the enemy of today can be the friend of tomorrow. Politics always shift and whether we like it or not, those "colonial forces" are also nuclear powers, we can't just mess with them. However, we do have sovereignty and we must exercise, we must also cooperate to make sure that when one is having to deal with those forces, another country can "mediate", be it Morocco, Mali, Burkina Faso or any other country.

Blessings to you @NickyGlover-oe5zd. I want to point out something to add to your statement. Feeling a connection with someone is only part of the reality of family. The other part is action. How do you act toward that person you feel affiliated with? How do they act toward you? If those two things are positive, then you can consider yourselves family. If action is not experienced, then it’s just admiration. Once again, blessings to you.

In morocco there's no black African, the black morocco citizens are into high level of racism, they only have foreign nations from ": France, Italy spain Belgium, Tunisia Algeria Egypt. Nothing good can come out of them. Be wise Mr assimi goita, traore, tiani

This guy MWEKASSA is really ignorant, he is just a fool for any nonsense because that is how he gets something to talk about to make a living. MOROCCO is just FRANCES indirect access to the AES. They are still still sleeping in the same bed with France or else the KING would have been overthrown long ago...............

You are playing right into the hands of the West by taking a leaf right out of their playbook to keep Africa divided and poor so that Africa can be exploited. They either use colour, religion or ethnicity to keep us fighting amongst ourselves and for us to forget who the real enemy is.

Hi brother Zack, thanks for the good works, and I wanna say that as long as we're tryna break the boundaries,I gah no name to call you but brother, what you said will rather brings in more mistrust amongst ourselves and not unity, and if you're ready to go create your own raçe with different way of thinking rather than inspiring us to come together, then please let us know,I prefer calling my other Africans brother rather to call them no name, without the continues preach of coming together, it is impossibile🙅thanks from Germany🇩🇪/Ghana🇬🇭 ❤

As a Moroccan I am proud of what our King is doing. The Moroccan King has always been passionate about increasing trade within Africa and not relying on European trade and we are seeing the fruits of his labour.

Please remember that Morocco often cooperates with Europe and the United States. Alao, they host foreign military bases there. So yes, move forward but also beware.

True. And let us be aware of the Treaty of Marrekesh between the US and Morocco stating that the US merchant ships will get safe passage. What the means is there is a long standing relationship be those countries.

You're wrong, there are no foreign military bases in Morocco. And between,we are allies of China,Russia,India,EU,US and all the major powers.Morocco does not side truly with the west.

There are no foreign military bases in Morocco and please name one military base if you disagree. Morocco has military alliances with some foreign countries and that is normal. We live in globalization right now and you cannot survive nowadays without open trades and foreign relationships.

Not in countries like DRC, and Rwanda, or the Americas. Millions of people have died in these conflicts and to blame other than ourselves would be irresponsible, and leaving the doors open for them to continue.

one of the best talks from a black person that is how some of us black Americans feel when some black people come from foreign countries to America and seem to take sides with the people who had us in chains, along with the beating, rapes, and murders for 500 years we must love and understand each better

This really shouldn't be a shock. There is a long historical ethnic tie to all three. People love to only look at the Arab looking Moroccans without actually looking at a map and seeing that there are people who look like many people in Mali, Niger, and Burkina. Hopefully this will have Black Africans look more into what's really going on in Morocco, Mauritania, and Algeria.
