I am an 84 year old widow living a couple of miles from BYU in Provo Utah. I have been watching FollowHIM for months and learn so much from the wisdom and insights of your guests as well as from both of you, Hank and John! I wouldn't miss an episode. Thank you!

As a new wearer of hearing aids I can confirm how overstimulating it was to hear everything again. My audiologist guided me to wear them only about 4 hours initially so that my brain can process the sounds again. The analogy has given me a real Aha moment. Thank you so much!

I enjoy all of these discussions but am chuckling about the hearing adjustment for Dr. Adams patients. My husband is struggling through this process right now because he went so long with such significant hearing loss that the sounds are overwhelming for him. His audiologist told him the same thing about the beginning wearing time to let his brain adjust but it is still a struggle for him, bless his heart!

During my lonely days of COVID-19, I started painting on canvas. , and donation to make people a little bit happy. I studied with many podcasts. I prayed all day, orally and in my heart. I cooked. I listened to books. Made fun videos and shared. I tried to cheer up others.

Thank you so much! I am an early morning seminary teacher in Georgia, USA and spend most of my "free" time studying to help my students. (They're wonderful, by the way!) Watching and listening to Follow Him is my chance to be fed. Thank you so much for this week's discussion!!

I listen to Hank and John and their exciting, interesting guests every week! So cool to listen and read along in the scriptures and have my heart and thoughts opened to new insights and information. I love the spiritual content and the new knowledge, and the humor. Thank you for this wonderful “friendship” in the Gospel of Christ.

Shalise, My husband and I were just released from a calling in an assisted living center where we served 3 1/2 years. It was the most amazing calling because of the spirit that those beautiful residents brought. Several had memory issues, but when I got down on their level and looked them in the eyes, our spirits spoke to each other and you just knew they were there, and if they were able they had years of life and faith to share. They couldn't share it verbally, but the spirit in our meetings was overwhelming because of these faithful, enduring beautiful people, who have become some of my most cherished friends! What a privilege and honor to serve them. Many have gone through the veil, and they are now my ministering angels! I feel them frequently. My brother Rick lives in your parents' ward and knows them well. I have really enjoyed this podcast. Thank you for your insights!

My husband passed away 23 years ago - one of the things I felt was being invisible. It’s apparently a common feeling among “singles” as I have talked with many who have said the same thing. Then being lonely when you’re surrounded by many - again the invisible feeling because one feels that everyone is talking around you as if you weren’t there.

I don't know if someone has already referenced this; my apologies if so. About the idea of listening to the Holy Ghost... Elder Bednar mentioned, in what I think was a student 'round table' sort of thing, that he would ask his audience "What did you hear that wasn't said?" I have always remembered that idea, that when I think about a talk, lesson, etc and later discuss it with someone, the things I remember hearing weren't necessarily heard by the other person. I love the idea that, If I am listening, the Holy Ghost will teach me, in the moment, the things I need to hear. What an incredible gift!

Hi, I am listening from Mesa, Arizona. I am a “single sister”. I hate that tag! Someone said “What do you want to be called?” I said, “Jean!” I am a tithe paying, calling doing, temple going, covenant keeping member of the church. I love what you said Shalise about being single isn’t something to be fixed. And when you are in leadership callings you know all the married people don’t necessarily have it all together either! I have LOVED your podcast this week!!! Thank you Shalise and Hank and John!!!! ❤

I normally don't comment but today felt the need. I felt her words of loneliness and just wanting to find a place. You can be surrounded by people and still be lonely if people don't look. We all have things that we hide, some better then others. The test is who do we turn to for guidance and support. I am also a single adult, and i could relate to mych of what she said. I tell others that my Savior is my best friend since he is the one i turn towards whenever i need anything. Moroni teaches us in these chapters very well how to access Jesus

Please could you help me find where church leaders have given instructions about not thanking priesthood holders for administering the sacrament after it has been passed? Have searched unsuccessfully. I’m guilty of this “error” and would like to teach my bishopric the correct way to conduct this part of our meetings. I simply wasn’t aware until I heard your podcast a few weeks ago? Love listening and learning from you each week as I travel the south of the UK - from a little village in Devon, England. Thank you ❤

Hello Brothers Smith and Bytheway. Love the podcast. In the book of Mormon, Moroni writes that he is alone. Being alone and being lonely are two different things. if he were lonely, without the Holy Ghost, he would have become emotionally depressed. He would not have been able to write as he did. Just a thought
