Morph's situation in the original run always bummed me out. So much happened to him and every time he comes back it's just more trauma. I'm so happy he came back for 97 but also I hope things get better for him

What I find the most saddening an interesting is Morph's new form is cause he can't stand to look at his other "default" form from the original series. All it does is remind him of the torture sinister put him through so he doesn't use it anymore. It's even more disturbing he uses the mind controlled look to show his grief and not the healthy looking one

When I said I liked the callback I meant I liked the fact that they had morph shape-shifting into his evil.form when talking about Sinister. It was a nice nod to continuity. I was not implying that I liked the horrible things Sinister subjected Morph to, so kindly pay attention next time!

Magneto recognizes a scum when he sees one. Even thought he did bad things too, but he acted openly like a warrior. Sinister uses shadows and cowardly tactics, for him means justify the cause even more than for Magneto.

​@metal87power There's also a huge difference in their motivations. Magneto has been labeled a terrorist by the UN. He has committed the evils in service to what he considers to be a greater good, namely the survival and prospering of mutants. Magneto knows he's doing, but that is after he had tried peaceful routes. Sinister is closer to a serial killer. He does evil for personal and power. He is sociopathic and selfish for the part.

I feel so sorry for Morph. I kind of hate that they went through so much in the OG show, but I like that they showed the real world consequences of trauma. Them realizing it was initially too soon to come back and eventually healing enough to come back is really inspiring. They are definitely my favorite character because despite what they've been through, they still try to make others laugh. I hope they get closure in this show.

For the younger generation, Mr. Sinister formerly known as Nathaniel Essex was a scientist in Victoria era London. He even personally knew James Xavier, the Professor's ancestor. Obsessed with next step evolution, he became the monster that we'll know. Even James Xavier said, "He's not human, not anymore. After chasing after him through half my life. I began to think, he never was." And poor Morph, he still bares the scars.
