@@alvideos2145 Roberto is Sunspot, and his powers are absorbing solar energy and using it to gain super strength. His strength and powers grow in relation to his energy intake, making him twice as strong on Asgard due to it being closer to more stars. He's strong enough to bleed and take out a Hulk in a single blow, his youngest and weakest form was said to be able to absolutely pulverise a building, can lift well over 50 tonnes, with his maximum being the weight of a planet when he became a near equal to Hercules in strength. On top of this, he can fly incredibly fast, shoot beams of concussive force, thermokinesis (the ability to emit heat from his body to melt things or absorb heat into his body), photokinesis (same as above but with light) as well as increased agility, so much so that even in his human form he can dodge a room full of lasers with 0 effort, durability tough enough to tank hits from Hulk, Red Hulk, and Thing, though he is still vulnerable. And this isn't mentioning his incredible battle IQ, martial arts skills, and the fact that he can completely negate any photon or energy blasts as he absorbs the heat and light energy from them entirely to boost him up, even in his human form when he was blasted with an energy beam and was able to power up from it

He's strong, sure, but he could never beat the likes of Magneto or Storm. I doubt he'd even be able to go up against Professor X and definitely not Jean Grey what with their psychic abilities.

This is low-key a slick way to introduce the audience to Magneto. We get the basics of what he’s about, and this scene also sets up the question of whether his change of heart is genuine. It’s surprising to see how complicated and conflicted the real Magneto is compared to his Danger Room hologram. It’s a good subversion of expectations. (It doesn’t force him out of character or spitefully degrade a character people love.)

From what I've read on Sunspot, he'll probably get character development. Especially since, if I remember the comics correctly, he led his own Avengers team for a while. And that was when his powers were on the fritz.

@@johnnygyro2295 That's right. U.S Avengers, his powers were bugged out by M-Pox. Making them incredibly more powerful but also ageing him prematurely when using them. I believe he only ever used his powers 2 or 3 times during that time. One time to absolutely destroy The Maker (which he could do either way) and the other to help Hercules lift up a planetary weight
