As a long time morph maker, I do all of these tips but the video was still helpful none the less! One tip to add if it wasn't said (I was kinda spacing out) is to use inspiration from real cats. I use two cat coat charts to help me make my morphs more realistic color wise. Usually my cats are mix breeds but if you want a certain breed, please search it up! That's all

Tip: If you want to make a Morph with details and so on, I recommend that you make it a large size so it is easier to add details.

So this is purely how I make morphs but I have 2 types spiky and soft (basically complex and simple with extra steps) Spiky: Spiky morphs are more common and usually include the following - a fade -brindle+added pattern (e.g braided stripes) - more or more scruffy fur - many accessories Soft I usually use soft morphs when experimenting with markings - usually pached - no fade - few accessory’s (IMPORTANT TIP: for splotches for the life of me DO NOT use all of the splotches make some of them the fur colour or I will tweak) This is just how I do it and also another tip if you’re bored slap a bunch of random colours on the tail until you end up with a actualy good palette

When i make scars on a morph i make the scar a little bit lighter than the skin color because it makes the morph realistic coming from someone who falls a lot and has more than a few scars (NONE on purpose)

TIP : If you want to make your morph look realistic, DON’T USE FUR COLORS FOR YOUR INSIDE OF EARS! use the skin colors! It’s what they’re meant for
