Hi Tony There are generally 2 x louvre motors. One for horizontal louvre and one for vertical. Sounds like your horizontal has malfunctioned. Best to contact a qualified service tech. Give them the indoor model number (info on indoor unit) and the could potentially bring one with them. 👌🏻

Hi Michael, the error codes are an indicator of potential issues and will generally steer you in the direction to start your diagnosis. Generally they're pretty much on the money but it always pays to have it checked by a qualified tech and preferably one that has experience in working with Daikin's equipment. Hope it works out for you.

@@mikedsilva Hi Michael, this will depend on a few things. Depending on how old the unit is, a refrigerant leak can sometimes be a costly exercise, particularly depending on the type of refrigerant that is in your system. It could be R22, R410A or R32 and they can vary considerably in price. In addition to the refrigerant, there is Nitrogen for pressure testing plus labour. In some instances, its not a cost effective option to be repairing (repairing an older system will not guarantee longevity). Hope this makes sense.

Hi Mohit, unfortunately it sounds as though you need to contact a reputable Daikin Dealer that handles service. Could potentially be fan motor & printed circuit boards. Depending on age, it may be a better investment to consider replacement if this is the case.

Hey Tom, the fact that the reset is clearing the fault is the reason it continues to run following a hard reset. There must be an issue if it keeps faulting and its probably time to have a qualified service tech look at it.

@@Morphettair on these units we don't have a fault but I have 3 heads running off a single outdoor unit. It will run a normal heat cycle getting the room up to temp and the one head then goes through this odd operation cycle with plastic clicking, random fan blowing cycle that is impossible to sleep through. Some techs online say its the fluid in line making gurgling running the other units as well as the plastic actuator Or gate inside the specific unit that clicks opening or closing?!? I'm so frustrated after the expense. I wish I could simply have it run quiet all the time in heat mode and not do these damn cycles it does. Any thoughts on this my friend, I would truly appreciate it you seem to know these well.

Check all internal wiring in relation to the compressor and detection circuit. Possible high differential pressure is present. If possible, check the inverter output with a Daikin inverter checker…essentially, you’ll need to contact a qualified service agent.

But it will work again and the blinking stopped when I turned it off and on using the remote but only for 3 times. Then it will always blinked even if I turned it on and off using the remote. But eveytime I turned off the circuit breaker, it will always worked again for 30 minutes. If I kept turning it off just before the 30 minutes mark, and on again it will run fine. Where is the circuit panel board on the outdoor unit? Service person came by 2 months ago and they keep trying to fix. 1st heater stopped they ordered a valve. When valve came in they said it was faulty. So the orders another one with a celluloid or something like that word. Not sure. Then They said it was incorrect. There have been 3 visits since was first diagnosed. Third time service person said he could not fix and left the outdoor panels on the unit bait screwed on. Screw were left sitting on top of the unit. It's been raining for 2 days, I know its very wet inside there. And no one even came back to screw on the panels to prevent rain damage to circuit board. Where is the circuit board on the outdoor unit. I thought i saw it when they opened front panel. So far all they will do is talk to me. And claim there's no way anything can be hurt by the train and dirt. This has been going since December 2022 and it's now February 11, 2023. Please help.

Hi Canny. If you've followed the instructions carefully, not sure why it wouldn't be beeping. Make sure you are standing in front of the indoor unit (within range), you may need to try replacement batteries. On the other hand, that could be the issue, the indoor receiver printed circuit board has an issue. Try the for-mentioned suggestions and if that doesn't work, you may need to put in a service request visit. Cheers

Hi Ven deritso.. 00 is the beginning of the sequence (ie the first code that appears). You'll need to cycle through the various codes by pressing the "Cancel" button briefly and you'll here a short beep each time. Keep cycling through the codes until you here a distinctly long single beep. This indicates the error code in question. If you cycle through with out hearing a long beep, this will indicate that either there is no error or it hasn't registered as a fault. Often it will take a few attempts before it registers a fault.
