RIP Billy Conway. Morphine wouldn’t have been the same without your amazing enthusiastic drumming.

I'm told that when you take the drug morphine after getting banged up, you drift into a state that's sort of slow and weird and wonderful, but at the same time the pain doesn't actually go away - you feel it there inside you. Then, when the morphine's gone, you go through withdrawal, and you're hollow and sick. And there's no worse feeling in the world than that.

Billy Conway was a great musician and just a good person. One of my favorite drummers who influenced me a lot. He had a unique style of playing and an amazing sense of groove. I really hoped someday to get to his concert or that he would come with Vapors of Morphine on tour, and that he signed for my press of Cure For Pain, and it would lack only Mark's signature. But now the two of them will definitely be missed. Rest in peace Billy 🖤

That bass tone is awesome. I would love to play Mark's bass. Looks like fun to play!

He got that done from tuning both strings to C, so the strings harmonize with each other creating a chorus pedal esque effect.
