Question: When applying the same plant stencil at different scales I find the line thickens when I make it bigger (wider plant). This makes for inconsistent line weight for my plant material. I like to keep thicker lines for taller or structural plants. And thinner lines for ground covers. But if I attempt to use the same stencil for both scales the line weight varies significantly, making it inconsistent. Is there a way around this? Can you control the thickness of a line stencil?

How do you label the design within trace? The design is beautiful but I need my plans to have plants labeled and I’m unsure how to easily do this in trace.

Perhaps a simple labeling like numbers at each plant and then a legend at side of drawing that you do in Excel and then import as a jpeg to drawing, or on a separate page. Of course do the labels on another layer so it can be removed during that part of your presentation. The great thing about Trace is that you don’t have to clog up such a beautiful drawing but simply click on that other information layer when needed.

Considering the scale of her hand to the screen, I'd say 12.9". The 11" inch screen tends to span just under an average fully spread hand, while the 12.9" spans a bit over a spread hand on the screen.
