I know that Morris and Prince had their issues with one another back in the day, but there is no doubt that they both had love for one another, they both respected each other, and no matter how bad things may have become back then their brotherhood was able to look over their issues and remain brothers up until the very end when we lost Prince. It's like Morris said himself, Prince was not an easy person to deal with because you never knew whether you were going to get the funny prankster Prince, or the seriously controlling and demanding Prince. But either way, Morris loved his brother no matter what just as we all do. RIP Prince. We miss you.

Morris, you had me tearing up with the first few notes, The Beautiful Ones came immediately to mind. It didn't get much better by the time the Dove was flying away, then watching you, wondering how in the hell you made it through recording the song much less the video, did me in. When I saw Prince's profile at 3:07, I was completely done for. The end of your beautiful song reminded me of the last few bars in the song Purple Rain, when Prince runs off stage after pouring his heart out, afraid no one liked it. Watching you, hearing your beautiful voice, you said every word we wish we could. Thank You, from the bottom of our hearts. Thank you more than you will ever know. I wish I had better words but I can't think straight right now and it's hard as hell to see what I'm typing through the tears. May God Bless you, you beautiful , loving man. Thank you so much John. I figure Morris won't ever see my post but if on the odd chance he does, I wanted him to know that even in all our grief, it doesn't touch what he and other friends, family and fellow artists have gone through. We might feel like we knew Prince , but they REALLY knew the man and was around his genius.We only watched from the side line, literally and figuratively.

Morris, I grew up listening to you, Prince, The Time, Vanity 6, Andre Cymone and the whole entire camp. I thank all of you for working hard, entertaining us and creating a legacy of great music and memories. This song and video was a masterpiece....a sincere and heartfelt tribute to Prince. It took me a while to listen to the song cause i heard it was quite emotional but after reading Morris’s new book “On Time” (i highly recommend it), i was ready. What an amazing tribute. I never forget that day when he passed away. I was wearing a purple long dress (not on purpose) & waiting for the bus. It was raining that day. That day when everyone was sad & had to keep moving. I went straight home found out I was fired & getting my last checks. But I went home, lit the candle, & watched The Purple Rain. It was a very sad day for everyone. RIP Prince,💜💜💜
