Great tutorial. You must have spent a fortune at Newton commercial, I know that stuff isn't cheap! Love your videos. Thanks, Peter

Awesome video - Using the lubricant to get those horizontal straps in a great idea and doing the lower part of the clip first means the top is a little closer and easier. Some of my seats had a the foam on the bottom and gave it a rounder look on the base rather than the bench look. Love the cling wrap idea - stretch wrap works well too. Great work and informative

Does anyone know if the seat framed changed between the MKI and the MK2?

MK 1 & MK 2 seat frames are the same.

Looks great 👍How is the back support kept in place? Thanks

Officer Dibble The seats are still very comfortable to sit in, especially for longer trips. I believe I used upholstery glue to keep the extra foam in place.

OK, do you think it'd be OK to but a bigger piece in? Eg if yours was say 19"x6"x1" & I put a piece in 19"x10"x1". Would that help to stop it dropping down & still work as a lumber support? Thanks

@@officerdibble5565 it might still fit, you might need to do a test fit first, the advantage of putting the plastic wrap over the seat back before the cover makes it easy to get on and you can slide it off if you need to adjust the lumber support.

@@CafeRacerLab I'm thinking it won't drop down then if it's deeper, but I wasn't sure if it still needs the gap under it to work as a back support, thanks
