I can relate this to one of my former jobs: mad atmosphere, glass(shit) in the grass, suspicious interest in my career, being stabeed in the back many times.

Bring back your old band we miss Gary Day and Alain Whyte. Alains backing vocals are needed in this song and his erie guitar playing was awesome. He suited and compliemented morrissey songs better. Bring back Alain!!

Why Don't You Find Out for Yourself Morrissey The sanest days are mad Why don't you find out for yourself? Then you'll see the price Very closely Some men here They have a special interest In your career They want to help you to grow And then siphon all your dough Why don't you find out for yourself? Then you'll see the glass Hidden in the grass You'll never believe me, so Why don't you find out for yourself? Sick down to my heart That's just the way it goes Some men here They know the full extent of Your distress They kneel and pray And they say Long may it last Why don't you find out for yourself? Then you'll see the glass Hidden in the grass Bad scenes come and go For which you must allow Sick down to my heart That's just the way it goes Don't rake up my mistakes I know exactly what they are And what do you do? Well you just sit there I've been stabbed in the back So many many times I don't have any skin But that's just the way it goes Songwriters: Alain Whyte / Steven Morrissey

Underappreciated by whom? How do you come to such a conclusion? Comments like this make no sense.

@atlasdguad77 If you check the liner notes, Alain still writes all the albums with Boz, i think he just stopped touring at some point.

Nah, the reason why it doesnt dound the same is Mozzie's age. Muscles get weaker over time and that includes his lovely vocal chords. Very sad, but I dont regret seeing him at Coachella. (Even though he complained alot...) :/

@xarsshtey6 morrissey is 51 years old and still going strong, but constant singing does take its toll, that's why he's out of breath, how is it a 'shit version' sorry I disagree, this is one of the most beautiful of songs, and it will always be sung perfectly by morrissey
@Mudbugaudiopro11 ай бұрын
What the hell is that weird keyboard noise going on that starts at 3 minutes 19 seconds. It's not coming from the guy playing the accordion because he's busy playing the accordion
@Mudbugaudiopro11 ай бұрын
I just watched it again I think that's coming from the guitar player
