When Morrissey arrives on Fox and you have a soccer mom/grandma type interviewing him, you know he isn't cool anymore and The Smiths have arrived at mainstream boredom. I think it was finally confirmed when he publicly stated his support for Anne-Marie Waters and her political movement For Britain. That was the nail in the coffin.
