I played Skyrim first too. But then, in 2019 I decided to play Morrowind. I should say: Morrowind blew me away. I love Morrowind for its Lore( especially The Sixth House - my favourite cult ). After playing Morrowind, I find Skyrim a bit boring, you know. Well, tastes differ. As to me, I prefer some stories about cults, Houses to Dragons and angry nords :)

I first played Oblivion then I played skyrim. I am playing Skyrim again. Since I am kid of new gen( 2000s) morrowind kinda feels boring for me. I hope I was born in 90s then I would have played even dagger fall and arena without bore

Reminds me of my first trail, across the road towards Arkngthand, in my search for the puzzle box. Reminds me of my travel towards the Temple of Azura, seeking the ring Moon-and-Star, seeking proof that I am indeed Neravarine, hero of legend. Reminds me of the fights I fought against the Sixth House, it's ultimate fighters, and the Sharmat himself, Voryn Dagoth, Dagoth Ur, a God. Some songs are truly magic and touch another world.
@silentsalem70998 жыл бұрын
you mean they touch aetherius and become magic, becoming part of it, so therefore, they could not touch a world without someone with the power to reach into aetherius and wield magic, or an aedra in aetherius to transport the song to the realm of the mortals. so you mean that some songs are so magical that they are wielded by magical people? magicly magic magic, man. its magic. man, the idea behind this series is trippy. cool and creative as hell, but trippy.

Skyrim and Oblivion were more based on fantasy with dragons and Empire wars. Morrowind felt like an entirely new world. It felt so much like another planet or dimension. It felt like a dream, a nightmare but most importantly a fantasy. Morrowind may be a little outdated with the graphics but it has the best music and the BEST world. Skyrim has amazing graphics and visuals which is why I can understand why people would choose Skyrim over Morrowind but if you REALLY want to live in the fantasy world of The Elder Scrolls with a whole new environment, ambiance and atmosphere, play Morrowind. Oblivion is a hit and miss. Not this.

I think I was about 13 when Morrowind came out and it was the most amazing game I'd ever played in my life up till then, because it just let me loose in this strange and alien world, free to do what I wanted. I seriously never did the main quest, because I didn't even know there was one. I just reported in to the guy in Balmora, who told me my cover was to be a freelance adventurer and I should do that and then I would totally forget to go back to him. I'd be too busy exploring each and every Daedric temple, ruin, Dwemer city and cavern I could find, just picking a destination for myself on my hard copy map and setting myself my own quest of the day.

Morrowind was a great RPG Oblivion was a great RPG with a little action Skyrim was a great atmospheric action-adventure with some RPG elements I always felt like the level of roleplaying elements were a spectrum with these three: If you want RPG and otherworldliness for for Morrowind, if you want something a little in-between with fun over-the-top physics and action (cuz lets face it the oblivion gates were rad as hell) play Oblivion If you want an epic adventure power fantasy and dragons and action, play Skyrim. Ultimately I always went back and forth on which of these three were my favorite Elder Scrolls but the fact of the matter is that each one of them invoked such powerful feelings in me each with its own kind of "flavor" of fantasy. Every time I looked up at the next horizon or the night sky or distant mountains in any of these games listening to THE BEST orchestrated game soundtracks of all time, I can't really play favorites.
