I see you only install a single crossmember. When inquired from a seller on Amazon they recommend installing three crossmembers. Is it a sales pitch… I have a 2017 26’ camping trailer. Thanks

Hi, that is a great question! Look at this quote from the manufacturers instruction manual. "The MORryde X Factor crossmember kit is designed to provide added strength and reinforcement to trailer frames. The crossmember can be installed onto a single spring hanger or for added strength and reinforcement onto all of the spring hangers on the frame." This basically means you do not have to install more than one if you do not want to or do not need to. www.etrailer.com/Accessories-and-Parts/MORryde/MR84AR.html#exp-productdetails=.questions

I'm getting ready to add three to my travel trailer before heading to Alaska next summer. I run a technical forum for a large RV manufacturer and most of the time when a spring hanger fails, it's the rear one.

Why did you install a drop down one when not needed?

The owner of this camper wanted to be able to run wires and hoses comfortably in the future without the cross member being in the way. www.etrailer.com/dept-pg-Accessories_and_Parts-pc-Crossmember.aspx

Hey, ive got a 2020 apex trailer, im going to be installing the equaflex suspension upgrade would I be using this x member ? There are multiple choices that I'm not sure about

This crossmember is adjustable for 58-1/4" to 79-3/4" spans. It should work great for your 2020 Apex trailer. www.etrailer.com/Accessories-and-Parts/MORryde/MR84AR.html

I would not go with the Equaflex. The CRE or SRE is much better. Performance Trailer Braking can help with making the correct choice.
