Morse Code QSO using an old Heathkit HW-101 Transceiver

Here is a slow speed CW QSO using a recently restored Heathkit HW-101 with a Junker Straight key.

I just obtained a heathkit hw 101 and power supply to restore. I hope it sounds as good as yours when I'm finished. I really enjoy your hw 101 videos. More please. Thank you for your service to the hobby.

You'll enjoy that old radio. Just be careful when you're working on it when it's powered up. I finally bought and restored an old Heathkit Voltmeter so that I could accurately measure voltages over 400.

@@HamRadioQRP ha I also just received an im 18 vacuum tube volt meter. Looks good but i think I'm going to replace the 2 capacitors before trying it..
