Thank you my friend! I thought the intro needed more flair, so I added that bit! Haha the armchair is a used chair that someone gave us. My father warted me to store it in my camper, but the door is wayyy too small. So it is now an outside chair that we will use for firewood hahahaha Greetings ✌️✌️

You can make these way more narrow band, causing less interference, by building a 'buzzer' style transmitter. You can hook up a relay that interrupts its own current, then put a LC circuit in series with the interrupter. Use this to power a magloop antenna and you can get it to fit neatly within one band (still smeared out over many channels, but in one band nonetheless). A real proper quenched spark transmitter could be as narrow as 25kHz at 500kHz (-6dB or -12dB points, i forgot, it's in the 1920s books somewhere). A buzzer transmitter can attain a similar bandwidth. I have done this in the daytime, on one of the ham bands that are essentially dead (due to how shortwave propagation works) during daylight hours and with a small rattling relay, i've already reached over 200m with a wire antenna and perhaps 1mA of average antenna current. It still did not work as i hoped - suffering from the 'dual hump' effect from indirect antenna coupling that so many 1920s amateurs complained about. Building a bad one is easy, building a good one isn't easy at all. I would strongly advise against using stun gun circuits, considering the very signficant power those put out. The one you made is about as powerful as a typical 1910s era amateur transmitter that could be used over many tens of kilometers when used right. Those typically used a T-ford ignition box if the radio operator wasn't particularly affluent. If you just want to play around, the aforementioned self interrupting relay and a ferrite antenna works wonders and can get a range up to about 20-30 meters.
