I’m referring to the brand name. Like I said in previous comment, Apple iphones are manufactured in China. But it’s not a Chinese brand, therefore they’re going to oversee quality product. Chinese brands don’t have to have any quality whatsoever. In fact, food doesn’t even have to be real in china. I’ve seen Chinese brands produce plastic rice because food laws are nonexistent apparently. When people figure out what they’re doing and stop buying the food, they just create another brandname and sell more. There are exceptions of that rule, brands like Retevis that are made in China, but are sold to Americans. Tend to enforce enough quality to keep their brand-name alive over here.

@JohnnyNJones17 күн бұрын
China does produce 86% of solar panels. The country of manufacture is not really a problem to me. It’s the company brand itself. Apple iPhones are manufactured in China. But because of that brand image, they have much more strict manufacturing policies and procedures. What I mean by Chinese solar panel is a Chinese branded panel. Those panels have been known to not match the specs they are described with and the quality is poor.

And when they give us American options, we should take them. Or you could vote for Trump and bring manufacturing back to America.

During this recent storm, I was able to receive real-time updates from stations in the USA and even assisted by relaying important messages for them to friends and family in the USA from Canada. @JohnnyNJones3 ай бұрын
@@sshooter546 I wasn’t using a monopole. I was using a dipole, both ends need to be equivalently long. Of course it’s not really acting as a dipole in this case because my signal is not balanced. Sort of like how you can put a mag mount on a car it’s not grounded. It just has enough of a ground plane to work. If you’re interested in that kind of stuff, I recommend getting the ARRL technician manual and working from there. Because what you’re asking is something that needs to be explained, mathematically, or at least in an abstract analogous form. The best way I can put it right now is that in a dipole your signal just needs enough room to bounce off the other side of the dipole instead of bouncing off the ground. If I took that dipole and buried half of it in the ground then I would have a ground mounted monopole In fact, if the ground was wet and saturated enough, I wouldn’t even need the other side of that dipole I could use the ground itself as the other side. Sorry, I can’t be more of help but it’s a technical idea.
