Lily Collins, Jamie Campbell Bower and Robert Sheehan talk to Poppy Jamie about new film Mortal Instruments and joke about magic and love. Robert Sheehan revealed that at one point he was even hung upside down. Lily Collins and Jamie Campbell Bower both agreed that they believed in magic and Lily said she would love to have a time travelling magical power.

This cast WAS perfect and this was a very good movie. I don't know why they didn't do a follow-up, it was worthy of one, for sure! Jamie C.B. was excellent in this movie as well. What happened to the 2nd movie??

Unfortunately I don't know how far they got with pre-production and filming of the second movie, but it seems that the first one didn't fulfill the box office expectations so the studio stopped the sequels. :( I haven't even seen the movie yet, just watched these interviews and read the first two books, but Jamie seems literally perfect for the role and Lily is so cute. Weird to be sad about something that happened so long ago. But I also can't help thinking that if the studio would have greenlit the full 6 movie thing, that Godfrey Gao would still be alive. :( I need a time machine.

@@DRT813 Do yourself a favor and watch the movie. It is really good. Outside of One Direction: This is Us release at the same time, it is possible it simply got pushed to the way side. Poor release attempts will do that to a good movie. Please watch it and let me know what you think. Personally, I think it is good enough to re-release! 🥰

everyone said that it was too different from the books and dragged on scenes that werent supposed to be and passed over scenes that were supposed to be longer so they turned it into a show instead however im not sure why they switched up the characters..

By the way, the movie WASN'T a failure. It was poor marketing, pure and simple. The movie itself was totally riveting! Use the original cast (please), even now, in 2020 - 2021, and get some good writers, and move forward!! - PLEASE!!
