Omniman's animality is not really from his planet! Is actually a Kaiju that attacked earth in the comics/show. To prove just how strong the damn thing was, it could take on Omniman and was later on modified to be a last resort contingency plan against him (Fittingly called, the Hail Mary Kaiju)

@@wolfhurricane897 I feel season 2 of the show does actually give a better look that whilst strong, Viltrumites aren't godly. Spoilers ahead With the reveal of Nolan's books being based off his past experiences in the Viltrumite army, plenty of animals, monsters and civilizations have managed to kill off a couple of them swiftly. Only reinforced that the average viltrumite soldier isn't that absurdly strong when we are show that Omniman is pretty much the strongest viltrumite to have ever fought.

To give scorpion some leeway, this is the first time SCORPION turned into a scorpion despite Animalities not being a new concept. In fact he used to turn into a penguin who lays egg bombs for some odd reason and Shiva (the female goro) used to be a scorpion.

Scorpion has actually turned into a scorpion before; one of his fatalities in MK4 had him become one, I guess as an apology for him getting the penguin animality in UMK3

The reason he had the penguin one before was because they gave Sheeva the scorpion Animality in MK3, a game that didn't have Scorpion in it at all. When they did UMK3, they added Scorpion, but uh-oh! Sheeva already has the scorpion Animality! And they can't have TWO characters with a scorpion Animality, so they leaned into it and gave Scorpion one that would be so unexpected that it would be funny.

Some animal fun facts: when a Female Mantis eats a male mantis for nutrients needed to feed the offspring but it doesn't have to do this. Giraffe's have very powerful necks in fact when giraffe's fight they do so by swinging their long necks into each other's body. Hippo's are one of the most dangerous creatures on Earth this is due to their thick skin, their ferocious temper, and their powerful bites.

I love how so many people _immediately_ recognize that tangling with a Hippo is _not_ going to end well. There's a reason why even crocodiles try to avoid Hippos whenever possible, an angry hippo can and will tear even a crocodile apart given a chance, let alone how infamously foul-tempered they are. You couldn't pay me enough to go anywhere near a real hippo unless it was 100% certain that the thing wouldn't be able to reach me.

I can't believe we still didn't get a proper MK9 Remaster. I recently made a deep dive video of X360 as the last great generation (hope I'm wrong) and when capturing the footage, I re-visited MK9. I'm in awe how amazing it is. The story mode - which serves as a reboot - is great, better than the 2020 movie we got. Gameplay, maps, characters are such a tribute to the arcade MK's from the 90's we grew up with.
