With the exception of something like this, unfortunately, leakers have become more of a source for news than the actual companies that want to "announce" games and/or coming content, then go radio silent or get vague and cryptic. It's not fun to tease people anymore, when games were made complete, then secrets and such were fun, when companies got greedy and focused more on quantity (not quality), and playing games with customers it became less fun and more annoying. Either talk about it when it's ready or close enough to actually SHOW/TALK about it, or just stay quiet til it's complete and you don't have to play games of "oh we can announce sOmEtHiNg, but then be really sus and quiet about it because the parent company says we can't or it's not actually close to ready".

The title is 85% accurate. Yes we wanna know what's up before we invest our time into it, HOWEVER, that instant gratification kills the grind and keeps players whining for more content. Earning characters through authentic gameplay and self discovery was what kept games exciting. MK11s longevity was partially killed by people complaining about how much effort it took to get certain Krypt items imo. Instant gratification was the issue, not lack of content. 💯

I don’t mind the Floyd leaks.. and actually appreciate them, honestly … because they hid a stage and skins behind it. Who the hell is gonna randomly jump 22 times while counting to unlock the it without knowing? We’d never find him. HOWEVER, I 💯 percent agree when it comes to the characters and the DLC. The only character that I actually got surprised by in MK1 was Geras. Literally knew every other character against my will. The leaks are just everywhere. It completely takes the surprise away.

Especially when they are monetizing a KZbin channel by leaking unfinished content that can be extremely misleadimg, spoiling gameplay suprises. While some of these sneak peaks create hype for the game, This also leads to disappointment. One thing to consider is that NRS had no business rushing an incomplete game out only to be constantly worked on Everyone's chomping at the bit to see if the game is being worked on and fixed, if their main character is going to finally be added, which direction the game is headed in, etc. Shit like this wouldn't happen if we weren't playing a fucking construction site of a video game.

Floyd's powers look like he controls light. He seems like he can make hard light and mirror magic. Since Floyd doesn't truly have a move set, and it looks funny. If they made him a full fledge character. He would have the hard light shield that beams rainbows, his teleport would be a gentle light flash or sparkling glitter. His lightning might be a light beam hitting you instead of lightning. He may even have a mirror shift move like how he does when he beats you, but it's like a chain kombo. And you've got a point my guy, it's does feel like we're being robbed. But here is my compromise. What if they made online and physical game books for the games. Like a Mortal Kombat 1 for beginners book, with all the details on how to get good and how to get certain things. Like tips and tricks and even how to GET to the secret character but nothing more than that. Think that would be a good idea
