I agree completely. I’m old enough that I was playing the first Mortal Kombat back when it was the only Mortal Kombat. I love the lore and mystique of the early games, especially MK2. I hope they keep him unplayable until the next game. When the next game drops, THEN make him playable and give him his own moveset and a bit more of a unique design. Folks are too used to instant gratification these days. Let’s let this one marinate a bit. The payoff will be worth it.

"eventually" He's not saying that the character should NEVER be playable. He literally said multiples times that he just shouldnt be anytime soon. You even made a second comment saying that the secret fight characters werent playable until the next game.

Data miners do hurt the game, snooping around is cool but it just messes up the gameplay for the players for future DLC. Pink Floyd shouldn’t be a playable character like Kronica no time soon I agree with you on this aspect of the MK content.

But in my opinion floyd isn't that big of deal he's just a character that took over chameleons spot players just want to fight him to get the new stage and skins after that he will be forgotten about he won't save mortal kombat if that's what your thinking

I heard there is over 100 challenges to see if Floyd appears sorry but I am not sitting in front of a screen for hours to see if he appears I will play just to see if he pops up but not to the extent of completing 100 challenge in one sitting 🙄
