I understand your concerns on the game and it’s no problem that even I can agree with some of these concerns. But you have to understand that they had to act fast and get everything they can to do quick. This game was actually supposed to be INJ3 but sense they realized that it would take even longer they decided to switch gears of the engine into mk1 that’s why it looks like this and feels INJ. If it was just mk on there mind it would be ALOT different and maybe better than mk11 imo

Honestly the only problem i have with this game is that it's on the switch, a console it was CLEARLY not made for. Like seriously what was NetherRealm smoking? But aside from that i haven't had this much fun/haven't been this invested in a Mortal Kombat game a in YEARS. 10/10 game, but NetherRealm really needs to either pull the swith version from the shelves or improve it.

So this is really the modern game industry now, huh? Release half finished games and fix it later with DLC and patches. It always sucks, but hits hard when its a franchise you love. The game has problems that I hope will get fixed. Kung Lao has a hat spin move that can be used for wakeup or even for pressure, but I for the life of me can't make it come out in neutral. A work around I found was doing a back,down,up motion and it would work consistently every time. There were times where I went for an armored reversal and even though I made the input, the move wouldn't come out. There's some frustrating stuff in this game, but I'm still having way more fun than I did trying to force myself to play MK11.

You know, I've been wondering why Johnny got 5 different skins at launch of the game. They really out here choosing favorites. And there's some characters that are just broken. And there's definitely a meta going on because I keep seeing the same people. And plus, they always spam. Imagine playing a game that requires learning and skill, just to spam. And We also can't forget the runners, the people that only use one or two moves and just run away the whole match. I literally went against a Scorpion player who used Sektor, so bro can spam his b4, jump kick, spear, and grab. And he also spammed the Sektor rocket so he's safe when I go for an attack. And I can't hit sektor before he does it because Scorpion keeps running away to the far sides of the screen. And I knew bro wasn't a good player, since he could only spam, and do one tiny combo. And not only did he do this every match, with me not winning a single one because of that tactic, but it was all in casuals of all places. Bro really brought that mess into casuals, not even ranked, KASUALS!!! Honestly, I feel like the players has reached a new low. I'm in grand Master and I still see spammers like this. It's just rare to find a person that's actually good at the game. People would just find anything unfair or broken and take advantage of it. But enough of me complaining, I think the game is unfinished and could use some work. And if you wanna see the Scorpion player I went against, just go to my channel, I've already posted it. I swear he was such a nuisance.

Only problem I had with the game was the story. It as a whole felt rushed. The Tournament also really threw me off, and felt super underwhelming. Side Note: I know Neatherrealm couldn't really do anything about this, so I ain't complaining but the fights in the story were alsol unbelievable. Raiden defeating the daughter of Outworld and General Shao did not make sense to me

I’m gonna be so honest I had no idea these glitches were a thing. I mean I have my own criticism about the story. But I mostly play the game now just out of practice because I was a bit iffy on playing online. (Funny enough, I was just about to do some research about how online works in Mortal Kombat before I actually dig into it myself and I conveniently just started watching your video) But hearing all of this about how online works is just completely wild to me, and I agree about the cosmetics as well. They aren’t good. And as someone who loves MK 11 I really wish that they improved 100% on gameplay. The cameo system is actually really good (when it comes to breaking combo lockers) they just need to balance all of the cameo characters. Though I can’t really say much because I don’t typically like using the cameo system. I wish there was a way to turn it off- personally because I dislike it. I don’t get me wrong I really like this game. In fact, it made me like playing Liu Kang. I was a huge scorpion mean for years, but this game really made me like Liu Kang. And I have to say it’s actually my favorite Mortal Kombat game. It does need a lot of work and I hope they fix all of the glitches because right now it’s not looking good for the Evo invite.

Not sure if you play on pc but if you do you could have also mentioned the optimisation issues. I meet he minimum system requirements easily and it still felt like I was trying to play mortal kombat in a power point presentation for the entire first week. Not to mention that mix up characters like smoke and sub zero are literally impossible to block if you're opponent has a somewhat bad connection(which they often do). Although the game does have some upsides too. The main one is that the gameplay is way more hype and fun to watch then mk 11. Mk 11 might have been the most balanced out of the games they have released thus far but god that game was a snooze fest most of the time. Watching 2 fujins try to out footsie each other or 2 cetrions trying to see who can throw rocks harder was probably the most bored I have ever been watching a fighting game. This was kind of my own mini rant and while I do have more to say, I don't feel like typing it all out. Although I am happy they got rid of crushing blows because those were cheap AF. But they did keep fatal blows and they actually made them stronger which I think was a terrible decision.

Your right its not perfect. But i would like to see you make another video on your opinion on this game after they fix, improve, and nerf some characters that need it badly. Also the cosmetic make me mad why are they quite difficult to get in this game you have to get really lucky with the shine which mostly gives you conpect art that i don't care about and invasion Barley helps aswell its a cool mode but a downgraded version of the krypt

I finished the shrine. It really doesn't get any better. You'll get some maskless options for the ninjas, skins and colours for Cage, skins and colours for Sindel and that's about it

The game might not be perfect yet but it might be some day. I live in South Africa and I can't find a damn match. Apparently there's a problem with the African servers according to other people. So I am not able to play online. I'm enjoying this game Demi but I'm upset that I can't find a single match😭

the damage with one bar is crazy. u can get over 50% easily
