No truer words have been spoken. God. I remember the arcade scene too having no coins and watching the pros play MKII and UMK3 to years later getting a PS2 and finally playing the 3D era games at home with my brother, man those were years I can not get back. Armageddon really literally as it's name suggests was the end of good writing but it was made due to Midway going under and they wanted to put the mother of all rosters and kill the characters off. Warner bought the franchise and it was admirable what they did by continuing the final fight after Blaze was defeated however they went about it the wrong way. MK1 was supposed to restart the universe and we were hopeful they would start with a clean slate and it went well until the multiverse crap and what's worse is NRS keeps doubling down even though they get all the hate from fans which is the most baffling thing. Now you're blocking people who bought your game and are voicing legit concerns to make your game better but you give them the middle finger. Tobias and Vogel really were excellent writers but damn Dominic and even Ed need to go. And for God's sake when are they finally introducing Onaga as the BIG BAD?

This happens because of release of incompleted games needed patches later on. They just rush shit out. You'd think they'd fik things but no. Man the 90s and early 2gs had better games movies etc. Now that we have awsome tech shitty products is all we get

I'll confess that I have a hot take when it comes to this non-stop endless mediocre slop that is the butthole of the video game industry; I roll my eyes whenever people defend the game devs and say they're 'victims' of WB's corporate greed; I think they're both guilty. We pay for this stuff, we're consumers, dangit! Also, Cyrax and Sektor were CYBORGS, not Iron Man suit wearing knockoffs with LITERAL JARVIS interfaces, which struck me as blatantly stupid. Are they serious?
