@IndestructibleWill-sc1cu They help Billy kill people, who’s a teen from EarthRealm. Kobra and Kira are young, broody, serial killers, so they would have pretty dirty language, psychotic tendencies and “EarthRealm lingo”. My versions of them are born in EarthRealm, but were dropped off in Outworld. We see that Reiko, Baraka and other Outworlders don’t speak “medieval” either. Outworld is much more modernized in MK1 than in previous iterations

I always wanted to see Kira and Kobra come back to the franchise, but now I got what I want. I am glad to see Kira came back as Ghostface, I thank Billy Loomis for helping the two Black Dragon members from the 3d era get back into the franchise as Ghostface killers.

If the Black Dragon were in MK1, I can imagine them appearing in a cage fight at Kano's fight club with Sonya at the beginning of the game. Then, in the Living Forest with Quan Chi. Then, appearing in places like Ying Fortress or Shang Tsung's laboratory during the coup. If the Black Dragon were involved in the conspiracy.
