Shang Tsung is not just a Titan, he is more powerful than that, but Netherrealm nerfed him so that Liu Kang would look more convincing winning.I can tell you a lot of proof as to why Shang Tsung wins, but of course no one will believe, but the reality is Shang Tsung wins not in Kombat, but the in overall power, but his powers were nerfed extremely.

I love the tiny detail of a shakey “I ii am glad” like all Liu wanted was to preserve the best for those he knew deserved better lives. Hearing that from Johnny Cage one of his best friends from who knows how many eons ago mustve been the best feeling ever for Liu. Johnny loves his life and I just wish Sonya had been a part of it but hopefully in the future. Liu has plans for Cassie Cage, but no mention of Sonya. I’m wondering if it’s bc Sonya dies for her family or something and he wants to change that. Idk I just hope they’re all together. Johnny deserves the best and so does everyone else

I'm not seeing this said anywhere, but if you analyze the choreography to this fight, you will see callbacks to *every single 3D intro.* Deadly Alliance hands are being thrown. Raiden vs The Deadly Alliance with the spin kick. You even see *Zombie* Liu Kang's movements at one point when they're just at a stalemate of blocking each other. *The SNAKE* is even the thing that shuts him down. Sure, it's green this time, but Quan Chi was the one who got the sneak attack off like that in DA so it fits just as well.

These are all different characters from different time lines. I presume you play the BEST of that certain character that you choose at the bottom of the pyramid. Then fight your way to the top. Your strength as said character is on par with liu Kang via this timeline.

@@cr820 Easy.The reality is Shang Tsung was nerfed from all his power abilities.Normally, Liu Kung genuinely is a better fighter than Shang Tsung, but skill doesn't compare when it comes to the power that Shang Tsung should have had, but was nerfed.Shang Tsung was a Titan with the crown, and he absorbed Titan Kronika, Elder God Cetrion, Fujin God, Raiden God, Shao Khan master and Sindel master.All this amount of raw power should have defeated Liu Kang a long time ago because Liu Kung was only ever a Demi-god as mentioned in the Mk1 story which is why Shang Tsung should have already won a long time ago.Not to mention that even the champion you choose to go against Shang Tsung and Quanchi is stupid because they should be defeated no diff, I mean be real Shang Tsung is more than just a Titan at this point.If you don't understand this then maybe this will skill can beat strength sure, but when a person has too much strength, skill is now useless which is the case Shang Tsung by now is too powerful that he alone can literally ambush a demi-god just as Cetrion Elder god could have ambushed Fujin God, Shang Tsung Master, and Knight wolf Master on Mk11.If you still didn't get the idea, Liu Kang only ever possessed the power of lightning and fire, but in defeating Kronika, he got the power of the hourglass.The thing is though even with that amount of power it is still no match for Shang Tsung because he has Cetrions and Kronika's along with Fujin and Raiden and if you don't know their power abilities search their abilities up that way you can understand Shang Tsung genuinely wins.Also be aware that Liu Kang was only ever a Titan because of canon/plot armor on Mk11 which in reality Liu Kang should have been dead before making it to Mk1.Sindel herself literally beat about 5 or more people including Liu Kang so you can't say that he is as tough as an elder god plus titan during the era of Mk1,Shang Tsung on the other hand still possesses all of his powers and abilities along with sindels.

The bad guys have always won in most games after 4.Deadly Alliance,Technically Deception,Armageddon,Mk 9(them killing shao but with HEAVY casualties and playing into shinnok's hands),MK X is kind of a good ending even tho our heroes are still doomed bc of Quan Chi's death and in MK 11 where everything gets undone and then aftermath happens where it's most likely the bad guys winning.Hell,even when we have a good ending,the bad one still happens.This is a nice change of pace with that titan shang tsung finally getting killed.I hope they slowly stop with that multiverse stuff and focus on this new era they built bc it has a lot of potential and I really enjoyed 90% of the story :)

Lol it’s pretty even, MK Armageddon and 9 the bad guys won. Yeah Shao died in 9 but it too Earth all its heroes💀

ye great they killed shang tsung and quin chi, nice, they will come back because of the plot hole of multiverses they developed, so all this doesn't even matter XD what a bunch of crap lore is this when nothing is permanent, nothing matters
