Yea, he's talking about the neck fatal no doubt. I never had as big an issue with it as others did. I always took it as a joke/troll. Alot of fighting games have stuff like it. Sometimes even to the extent of including a whole character as a troll, like Dan in SF, Pichu in Melee, or Bo Rai Cho in MK. Smash has various stages and items that are basically trolls as well.

Loading ruined it. Loading for each round, fatality, and even Shane’s morphs. The Music wasn’t programmed eighth either. Stages have the wrong songs. Genesis version was better in these ways.

I'm surprised it's not pointed out that in the Genesis version Subzero has the same fighting stance as Scorpion. In the SNES version Subzero has his unique fighting stance. This drove me absolutely mental as a kid. Still does.....
